979. USC. One of the greatest games in history of Tiger Stadium even though we "lost". The day I became a die hard LSU fan.

Brutha you were there for the loudest that stadium has ever been in my lifetime and I've been going since '73.
The sustained noise for an entire game I can say safely will never be matched I can guarantee that. There may have been a game before '73 that was but I can't speak to that.

2014 LSU vs Ms State. My 19th birthday fell on the same weekend and my dad asked me to drive down from my moms (parents divorced at 4) to help him with some construction work. I remember forgetting to bring cash for the causeway and being in a panic to get to my dads, had to drive through Hammond lol. Got there after driving 100 the whole way just for him to tell me jk and place tickets in my hand. I had been wanting to go to a game since I was 5 but we couldn’t ever afford it. I’ll never forget it as long as I live. I sat on a bench next to Mike looking at the stadium with stars in my eyes for an hour straight. Some chicks came up and and wanted me to go hang out with them. Blew them off to hang with my old man. We lost the game ultimately but that rally in the 4th and being at an LSU game with my pops was one of the greatest things I have ever experienced.

1988 Vs Miami
Remember being in the upper deck thinking I was in a hurricane but in awe of the 'Canes. (Probably exaggerated it in my head)
Been a UM fan ever since behind LSU of course.

aTm....1970. South end zone 10 rows up. Heartbreaking, what with CB Paul Lyons going for the int on a hail Mary with 13 seconds left, and missing it !! Aggies walk away with a 13 - 10 win. LSU had dual QBs Buddy Lee and Bert Jones. The bands were awesome and atmosphere was LOUD !!!!!!!! Oops, final score = 18 - 13 Aggies

One of my early ones as well. I remember tailgating with dad all day and then trying to give away our two tickets. When we couldn’t we just went to the game. I was only 8 but I remember thinking “at least lsu is good at basketball and baseball”

September 6, 1980. FSU beat us 16-0. My HS teammate kicked 3 FG's for FSU and went on to being an All-American that season.
