Why was everybody in such a celebratory mood? It went on way too long for a 4-6 team. It got to be a bit hokey and downright foolish. They beat A&M but celebrated like they won the SEC.

Someone on this board pointed out that when LSU stormed the field after the Ole Miss game, it wasn’t for beating Ole Miss; it was for changing the direction of the program. Maybe that’s what was going on at Auburn.

In any event, I’m just happy that people are passionate about college football.

Hadn't won a game since September
Got rid of their coach
Cadillac brought back the magic last night with his energy
Maybe they see it as the turning point that will get them back to winning games

Just let them enjoy it, man

Yeah. I have no beef with it. A huge moment for Cadillac, his family, and the players that have gutted it out. The fans showed some respect and it made for a nice atmosphere.

When were you born? Serious question.
Cadillac Williams coached a game.

Auburn is having a bad season and they won a SEC game with a likable former player as a coach.

They should be happy.

I've hated auburn since the cigar incident in the 90s, the chop block on Dorsey, Fairleys dirty arse etc but that showing last night was awesome. Happy for them and Cadillac, they been through a lot.

ETA. Forgot about when they came out and practiced while our band was still playing at halftime and our tuba player rocked one of them.

Dude seriously, are you trying to be a gump? They rallied in support of a favorite son, trying to bring back quality to Auburn. I think it was incredible, and proud of them.

For the few people who were at the LSU Ark game in 1999. That was an absolute joy of a game to be at. LSU was 2-8 entering the game and 0-7 in the SEC. Probably 40,000 fans at most.

But beating the crap out of, I believe, a ranked Ark team was amazing and we celebrated a ton.

The SEC west is better when auburn is better. We should not count on Texas am ever to be a good win.

I enjoyed watching them celebrate on TV last night. It looked like they won the West

I get it. They really needed hope and got it.

Nothing strange about it. It's the equivalent of us having three wins and the honey badger coaching and bringing everyone back to life.
