Curious how it compares to the expected 70/30 split today, does anyone remember?

We’ll potentially own a similar split for the NC game.

it's 50/50. it's always 50/50 at the seccg. not sure why those idiots are saying 70/30.

Georgia will have the numbers, but not 70-30. Closer to 50-50

It’s never been close to 50/50. Georgia always has more fans. More like 70/30.

The ticket allocation maybe 50-50 for each school but there is definitely going to be more Georgia fans there.

You are clueless if you believe this. This is a Georgia home game every time we play them.

A majority of the tickets are/were NOT part of the allotment to the teams. LSU and UGA got 15,900 each, but most of the remainder of tickets are owned by season ticket holders most of whom have alabama addresses.

It was 30-70 in 2011 and should be around that today.

The second picture is small but you can see where the LSU crowd ends.

In 2011 LSU fans went from here

To here

LSU had their allotment which is the orange in the seating chart and pretty much nothing else. That looks to be about a 70/30 split.

Was anyone at the 2007 NC between Ohio State and LSU? What was the crowd split there? I assume in favor of LSU since it was in NO.

Let’s just say 2007 Dome was more purple and gold than 2011 Dome. 2011 was an absolute embarrassment.

When you don’t know what the hell you are talking about it’s always best to shut up.

I went to the 2005 & 2011 SEC Championships. Both were easily 70/30 UGA fans.

It was like 65/35

The LSU/Oklahoma game in the Superdome was like 75/25

I went in 03, 05, 07, and 11. None were close to 50/50.

Ohio State was well represented, but we had more fans. Probably about 60/40 split. Remember than most LSU fans had no idea that we were going to the NC game until the last minute. West Virginia had to lose to Pitt.

The 2012 NC game was an embarrassment, both on the field and in the stands. I’ve never seen fans sell out their team like ours did. It was disgusting.

I remember being outnumbered that game. Not exactly sure of the exact number. I do remember the LSU fans being a LOT louder though.

here is a man that has quite obviously never been.

Each school recieves the same amount of tickets obviously, but you're eihter lying or forgetful if you think it was 50/50 of fans in the seats.

It's really hard to tell from those pictures, cause I see scatterings of purple in the Georgia section. But 65/35 Georgia is a good bet for fan distribution, based upon the propinquity factor favoring the Dogs.

It's a crying shame LSU can't take over the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in the same fashion, given that there are about 100,000 LSU fans within walking distance of the dome.

Will be 70-30 Dawgs. Most of the season ticket holders for SECCG are in GA, AL and a 150 mile radius of Atlanta.
