The best part about this, and I'm sure Scuba will agree, is that we may finally be able to have two full teams for fall scrimmages!!!
I could see a 2009 scenario where most of the lineup is subbed out at once in mid week blowouts.

Pete Hughes, Hal's dad, is the new HC at Kansas State.
Was the volunteer assistant at Georgia this past season after being fired from Oklahoma.

There goes 30 year old Andrew Mitchell.

I would enjoy trying to figure out who was the scrawny manager in RF...

We haven't seen that in a while. I love those games. It's the hidden lost development opportunity that happens when we don't beat the ever living shite out of mid week opponents.

Rumor is Mitchell and Schwarz were going to play on the same over 40 team if they didn’t like where they were drafted.

I'm still annoyed that I only got one upvote (and a downvote) when I joked about Schwarz and Brad Wilkerson playing together at FLorida.

Good for him. Really perservered. I wish him well. Impressive he got drafted that high with no leverage remaining as a 5 yr sr.....

No excuse for losing another mid-week game with next year's pitching staff. (But everyone knows, they don't matter.)

Does Hal want to go play for him?

So now, if we want Cabell to get to campus, we need Turang to take up a most of his slot. THe Brewer's pool isn't huge.

Hopefully it works out with Cabell. We could really use him.

Kansas State.
Man, that was a team that had a brief stint of success in baseball. Flash in the pan from 2009-2013.

Somebody said earlier the Brewers were cheap. If so, pissing them off may have been a good play.

As I said Monday the Brewers have the 7th least bonus pool money and picked 3 high school players 1-3 including Turang.
Not the worst team to go to assuming he holds his number
