I can't see Watson or Hess singing at this point. Maybe Dups if he's taken soon.

Hopefully C.J. Willis & Jaden Hill don't get picked any time soon.

The Brewers were the absolute best team to draft Cabell, IMO

We may not know for a while if he makes it to school with Milwaukee having to work on those other contracts first.

So lets say Cabell does sign....The tracker shows he was ranked 101...did he slide all the way to 425 because basically hes a terrible negotiator? seems like even if he accepts whatever they can offer him now one of his earlier calls would have been somewhat of a higher number.

Yea if anything with a Cabell it’s going to be a waiting game.

The Brewers MUST sign all their 10 picks AND use whatever money is left over to try and make an offer.

He simply wanted more than teams were willing to give, generally a great sign they come to school unless some stupid number gets thrown to him.

I would say it means he is sticking to his number, whatever that may be.

But it doesn’t necessarily mean the Brewers can’t work it out to meet it. By taking him outside the 10th round they just don’t have anything at risk by not signing him.

A stupid number and a legit pool allowed number

This is out of nowhere, but I just remembered why last year's pitcher commit fell off the face of the earth when he decommitted from us to go to JUCO. Brandon McCabe had TJ and sat this year out.

The other pitcher that decommitted to go JUCO was Stehpen Keller, he signed with the Reds after last year's draft.

Miguel Reyes, who we cut loose, had a good season at a Kansas JUCO.

Cannizaro really didn't recruit as well as people would have you believe.

Hughes other son stayed at Oklahoma and has one more year there to play
I doubt Hal leaves LSU at this point

I wonder how much of UGA's success was some of his coaching with that team

Don’t the brewers only have like 6.5 to spend? We should still feel pretty good

Yeah, Turang's slot is like 50% of their pool.

I guess. Still glove first. But he didn't hit all that much at Chipola when surrounded by draft picks crushing.

And he didn't hit all that much at Kentucky when surrounded by draft picks crushing.
