Commute the sentence to life without parole. In my opinion, outside of costing the state more money to house her, it's the more severe punishment. Let her live the rest of her life knowing she won't have any freedom, won't be known for anything other than what she did and to sit there just rotting away. To me life in prison is a far worse sentence than the death penalty in a lot of cases.

Good grief, what an effeminate post

Hang her. Erect gallows, secure some good, strong rope, and hang her

And I mean that. Bring back hanging as the primary means of capital punishment. And open it to the public. People need to witness the consequences that happen when you murder someone.

I’ve always felt like if you survive an execution attempt, you get to live. The state gets one shot.

Not a popular opinion but it should go through the courts about what to do.

The death warrant is only valid for that specific day. They failed to perform their duty and since were supposedly against cruel and usual punishment, she shouldn’t be subjected to torture if were to abide by the law.

That legal precedent has already been set.

In 1946, the State of Louisiana botched the execution of Willie Francis who had been sentenced to death for a murder he committed at the age of 16. His appeal went to the U.S. Supreme Court and was denied. Just over a year after the first attempt Francis went to the electric chair again and that time it worked.

She was sentenced to DEATH, not to a certain dosage of sedative. Put her to death by whatever means.

She requested this and it was denied by the state. Frankly if the drugs severely screwed her up, some would argue why give mercy by freeing her from the agony of living with it? (I am of the opinion that they should push her bed out of the hospital and empty a clip.)
