I’m not sure why people can’t understand that those of us saying sanctions are still on the table do not agree they are warranted and feel the SEC is railroading us in a way that should not be forgotten.
But there is no arbitration or independent fact finder here. The rules the other 15 members passed gives Sankey pure discretion to determine if a school “attempted to roster” players.
Our only options would be to to resign from the conference or file a lawsuit. The SEC is trying to cutoff filing a lawsuit as a defense by saying that if you to fight us in court we’ll expel you.
Hopefully we came to an arrangement behind closed doors tonight and it’s a slap on the wrist.

The best thing for the whole situation is the SEC to drop this nonsense and wait anxiously for next weekend. Then everyone will move on.
