10W + bowl game W = success

At least be a legitimate threat for the SECCG

For the regular season only, I'll set the bar at 9 wins. I'd be happy with anything above that, and very disappointed with anything less. 9 wins exactly, my feelings will probably depend on who we beat and how we do in the bowl game.

9-3 will probably be the recurring result year over year for the next 5 years, with an occasional 10-2 and 8-5 sprinkled in.

Records really don't determine if a season is a success or not in my mind. I want to win, but if we have improved qb play, let the players from the last 2 top 10 recruiting classes get experience and set up us for a title run next year I will consider this year a "success." As far as wins and losses go I will be satisfied with 10-2 or 9-3 (if we have major injuries).

However I keep hearing Miles and the players talk about winning the SEC and making the playoffs so right now that is what I want.

10-3 overall with a bowl victory. Hoping for much more but that would be satisfactory. 9-4 would be ok only with a win over 'Bama.

10 wins is always the standard for success at LSU under Miles. Anything less is a bad year.

10-2 would be a success. 9-3 would be worst case.

I want them to win every time they play , but the miss use of talent will continue this year as well . Fans leaving at half time due to the dislike of run up the middle every play will continue . So 7-5 maybe 8-4 .

One of these years LSU will not win 8 games, so as long as LSU keeps it 8 wins a year streak alive, it's a success.

9-3 is a reasonable expectation with the questions at quarterback, defensive depth issues, and level of competition in SECW.

10-2 or better is a very successful year

8-4 or worse is a very disappointing year
