Nick Saban
When people list Saban, I truly don’t think they followed LSU football while he was here.
People bitched when he was hired. Not many liked him.
People bitched about him when we lost to UAB in 2000
People bitched when we got blown out by Florida at home in 2001. Bitched loudly when we lost to ole Miss in 2001.
People bitched loudly when we blew a lead against Arkansas in War memorial in 30 seconds and lost the west in 2002.
People bitched when Florida beat us at home in 2003.
When we blew the Iowa bowl game in 2004 people couldn’t wait for him to get his arse to Miami.

Skip Bertman, Nick Saban, Kim Mulkey. Saban changed the dynamic of the football culture from loser to winner. Skip built LSU baseball into a monster
People complained about Saban
People also complained about Mulkey. People on here have complained about Skip as an AD, I know.

we had will wade the best coach in college basketball and fans said he plays street ball and cant coach

I never wanted to fire Skip, that would have been insane, but I absolutely disagreed with and questioned some moves he made.
One example the Texas game in the CWS, Big Ben had a blister on his finger and it was obvious from very early on he wasn't. Leskanic who was a very good pitcher in his own right and pitched in MLB was available but Skip stuck with Ben till the game was too far gone.

Probably doesn't exist and never will. I will say that I think Skip is one of the greatest coaches of all time, any sport!

We didn’t win the title in 92, 94, 95, 98, or 99.
Skip would have been on the hot seat halfway through those seasons.

“Skip didn’t even make it out of the supers against Tulane. He’s old and the game has passed him up. Bring on Smoke” - The rant if it existed in 2001

Quite the opposite, if a modern coach won multiple titles the Rant would worship them on a level nobody had ever seen.

God I could imagine the Tepper threads on here. That was my JR and SR years at LSU.
I don't know where they rank statistically all-time, but there was on average less offense back then. Imagine 2-3 times per game some opposing WR streaking down the field and nobody was within 20 yards of him

Skip Saban what was the T&F coach that won every year for a decade?? Miles but should have been fired three years earlier. Dale Brown. Giriaud. Mulkey now and Jay. That’s my list.
