Doesn't hurt to have the GOAT throwing you an imminently catchable ball either. Too big and strong for scrawny CB's.

ake what everyone else says and add that he practices daily across from Stingley. iron sharpens iron.

they can hone each other but Chase was already great before practicing against Stingley, so the Stingley point is meaningless.

Agree. Fast enough, decent size, strong. Does not always get great separation but is VERY good at contested catches, something that should transfer over well to the NFL where coverage is always tight. Let's give Joe some credit here too, many times the DB was right on JC's hip but Joe put the ball in place for JC to go get it.

Seeing as Jamarr isnt super tall nor does he have 4.2 speed,
He is tall enough, fast enough, explosive enough, smart enough, quick enough, dedicated enough, and supported enough to be really really good.

Strength. He has insanely strong and heavy hands/arms which allows him to separate from even the best press corners. O has said many times he’s pound for pound the strongest guy on the team.

He checks the box in all physical attributes for WR but 2 key things are his ankle flexibility and ability to sink his hips at full speed. These two things allow him to create separation effortlessly.

He’s faster than you’re giving him credit for.

He isn’t just blowing by guys but when he gets past them they aren’t chasing him down.

He has great footwork and is really good at getting a CB to miss a beat, and the. He’s gone.

He is also amazing at going up and getting the football.

Really strong/physical and elite body control. Never gets jammed or knocked off his spot at any point in the route.

Very sudden / explosive which you can tell surprises DBs because he’s so nonchalant before he explodes that it catches most off guard and he’s made his move before they can counter it

It's that grin as he blows by you.

We kept wondering why LSU taller receivers could not catch over shorter dbs. Some one has gotten to those baws about fighting for the ball in the air. Chase has this down. All of them did last season.

Heard something about how he lifts his hands to catch the ball at the last second so DBs cant watch his hands to defend. He is fast, good size, overall strength and more. Importantly hand strength, and very smart.

Think you probably heard this about his eyes.

He just reminds me of Steve Smith without the attitude by I wouldn't give a frick if he did have it because he's an unreal receiver.

He's incredibly strong and physical in his approach to getting the ball.

If he wore 89 I would think it's Steve out there.
