A guy I know (ULL grad) hates LSU so much that he openly supports bama just because they beat LSU for so long.

Posts memes, and talks a lot of shite. Even went on an epic melt this year about how much the refs screwed “his team.”

The “Little bro” syndrome is so palatable and so overplayed. Hopefully they’ll pipe down now that LSU has joined the latest century of football.

All you have to do is find some weak minded, bandwagon jumping jackasses and you’ll find yourself some Bama fans. And wouldn’t you guess, their favorite NFL team is the Patriots.

If LSU wins it all this year these clowns will be decked out head to toe in the cheapest most outrageous P&G LSU gear found in Wal Mart.

Then what is Baton Rouge’s and North Louisiana’s excuse?

North Baton Ruuuuge’s excuse is that they hate wypipo. Source: I’ve been working there on and off since 94. Many of them are Southern and Bama fans.

From looking at the bama rooster I’d say they are pretty popular in Baton Rouge. I don’t see any players from Lafayette though

Lived in Monroe for 20 years, live in Laffy now. I’ve seen significantly more Bama gear and logos in the northeast as compared to here. Don’t know where the Lafayette talk is coming from.

I’m in Jackson, MS and the weekend after Alabama I had never seen so many LSU sweaters/jackets in all the 8 years since I’ve moved here.

West Monroe is the only answer, followed by Amite

Is Tchoupitoulas Street considered uptown?

As a lifelong New Orleanian, anything upriver from the Pontchartrain Expressway and below Claiborne is considered, in general, Uptown. You can be more specific than that but all those little neighborhoods/districts are still considered Uptown.

Whatever the case I’m not getting any, “you know I’m a bama fan?” Comments lately

I was just in amite the other day and saw a few bandwagon gumps still wearing their stuff. Its funny how these toothless rednecks have not even been to the state of alabama.

Whoever is saying Lafayette is a dumbass and obviously doesn’t live here. Just go into town on any Saturday and count the number of LSU shirts you see, you’ll lose count within a couple minutes. I graduated from UL but have watched EVERY LSU football game since I was like 10.

New Orleans has a decent number of Bama grads walking around.

A lot of St Tammany kids enrolled at Bama. Bama makes a killing on out of state tuition.

Where do y'all keep finding all these gumps? I've encountered all of 2 of them in the last 15 years. One was an attractive ginger... I'm starting to think I hallucinated it.
