Looks like every town has been named in this thread but Shreveport and Ruston. Congrats to them.

I’m specifically talking about the town of Bogalusa. And 95% who have the big A on the back glass couldn’t tell you who the coach was before Saban.

There's a large contingent in Lafayette that not only hate LSU, but also hate the saints because they got rid of Jake Delhomme.

It kills me the amount of people rooting against 'racist' LSU only to throw support at a university in a more racist state.

Love how Shreveport is NOT mentioned. We have our down falls but God Damnit we love the Tigers!

Ohhh I believe u, every time I meet someone like u described, first thing I ask is oh where in Alabama are u from? Of course they answer oh I am from Louisiana , then I ask oh so u went to the university of Alabama ? Of course then some say ohh no I went to ULL or wherever or no University at all . Then at that point I just say oh ur one of those type folks and the conversation at that point is done

I spent 10 years in Henleyfield, MS. I was closer to Bogalusa than Picayune, so I went to church and shopped in Bogalusa, from 2006 to 2016. I saw plenty of Alabama fans in Bogalusa.

I'm 47 and I was born and raised there. I probably know 6 or 7 people who have always been Bama fans. The ones you see in Wal Mart are probably coming in from Mississippi to shop.

Come on I think in 2019 we need to value all the regions of the state, I don’t think it is just Monroe area that has Bama Sidewalk alums , there in Lafayette , Florida parishes , And some in Baton Rouge and NO metro areas

I’d say that it will probably align with the town’s that have the lowest LEAP test scores.

I've found that parts of New Orleans have a superiority complex to LSU. They, for some unbeknownst reason, have a false sense of self-importance and think LSU is beneath them.
literally never have I come across this in New Orleans

I've seen people get harassed in restaurants for wearing LSU merch.

Define harassed. Because if it’s anything other than good natured fan banter you’re full of shite. I’ve worn LSU gear in Lafayette for 50+ years and have never, NEVER had anyone tell me anything.

I wear my UL baseball cap around BR. I’ve had one guy joke with me on an LSU/UL game day, telling me good luck.

Can we say predominantly African American areas of each town? The same ones with the FSU and Miami Starter jackets in the 90’s.

Maybe, but I’ll admit to wearing a FSU starter jacket in the 90s. Seems so silly now.

It’s more prevalent with the uptown crowd. They might only go to Ole Miss or Bama but since it’s out of state it’s better in their minds.
