Don't tell me there are no Alabama "fans" in Lafayette Parish who have no connection to alabama except they hate LSU sports or are bandwagon fans

They certainly exist, but aren't as prelivant as some are suggesting. I know one personally, but I can tell you more about ULL athletics than he can, so I don't really consider him a ULL fan either. He damn sure isn't a Bama fan, he just claims to like them because he hates LSU. He probably doesn't know Tua got hurt, or who ULL plays this weekend.

Well, does he think Bama does not have any racist fans? I guess there he would wear LSU gear.

and the UL-L anti-LSU bitches are a subculture in Lafayette. I've seen people get harassed in restaurants for wearing LSU merch.

Well maybe you have but I've lived in Lafayette my whole life and cannot recall anyone getting it for wearing LSU gear. Maybe if there's ever a matchup between the two. Otherwise all this talk about Lafayette here is quite exaggerated.

Hell no. The Northshore parishes and towns are big-time LSU. Tangipahoa, Washington, st. Tammany are all huge LSU parishes dude. You have no idea what you're talking about. You people who are saying Hammond, amite, bogalusa, etc...have no clue what you're talking about lol. Not even worth arguing with y'all over it. You're so wrong that I already know you're ignorant. Whatever, ignorant people have opinions too. Geaux Tigers.

Can't speak for the entire state, but NE Louisiana has plenty. And I'm gonna dog their arse as soon as they try to wear purple and gold again. People that have lived here their entire lives. I'll die never understanding it.

Well people who are really from Louisiana don't even really claim north LA as part of the state, so I'm not sure they even belong in this discussion.

I'm sitting in Legends in Lafayette, in an LSU pull over, with an LSU hat, as we speak. Nobody has said a word.

Great. I saw a guy get harassed at Old Tyme Grocery about a year ago.

I didn't say it was like Nazi Germany, but it does happen.

I don’t see the African American crowd in Nola ever wearing Bama gear. Don’t recall ever seeing it. The uptown yuppie crowd has quite a few Bama grads I believe so see them on occasion. The NFL rules in Nola with the urban market.

Well, that's pretty much on the ULL campus.

Was he harassed by a Bama fan? Or by a ULL fan?

I spent 10 years in Henleyfield, MS. I was closer to Bogalusa than Picayune, so I went to church and shopped in Bogalusa, from 2006 to 2016. I saw plenty of Alabama fans in Bogalusa.
