A few of those bama games for sure, really felt like at least 3 of them were straight corrupt hwy robbery. Then both Notre Dame games, the penn State game, and the Clemson game really upset me feel like that was what set up there momentum. we had the opportunity to win and probably should have won all those games I listed.

The 2015 NCAAT loss to NC State was disgusting. We had no business losing and some ginormous power forward who looked like Tyler Shelvin playing basketball that hadn’t scored all game hits the winning shot with no time left. We probably would have made the sweet 16 if we won because Villanova was a weak 1 seed and NC State ended up beating them. At least we got Willie Wade now though.

I would have to say 2012 BAMA too. One of the worst feelings of my life coming out of the stadium that day.

It's a big deal to graduate from any state college.he should have been proud and I bet he was even prouder when he passed

1997 auburn game
It’s my favorite game of the year and they couldn’t stop Cecil Collins. I was literally hurt after the game was over.

Nov. 7, 1959 - Tennessee 14, LSU 13. This game played in Knoxville was played one week after the Tigers beat Ole Miss 7 to 3 on Billy Cannon's 89 yard run. It was a big fall.

Ole Miss coming off the Florida upset felt worse to me that season but I agree with you, Auburn 97 has to be up there.

After 1/9/12, 2005 Tennessee definitely hit me the hardest. Weeks before, Katrina hit and then Rita. The world was upside down, and New Orleans was feared gone forever. An LSU home game was just what the doctor ordered for me as a college sophomore...or so I thought. I watched that 21-0 lead evaporate, wished Saban had never left, and staggered back to my dorm, only to discover that my roommate from Texas had taped a note to our door immediately after the game that read “God does not care about Louisiana.” He intended it as a joke, but it wasn’t my happiest moment.

I had 2 season tickets. I would take my brother or brother-in-law or sometimes my dad to the game. Over the course of a few years before this game, I had taken my dad to several games.

He had never been to an LSU game before he went with me. He was a blue collar guy. Never went to college. He was proud of me for having graduated from LSU. (I know it's not a big deal but it was to him). He was so impressed with Tiger Stadium and the whole gameday experience. It was like he gave me some of the credit because it was "my" school.

Well, he had never been to one of those truly unforgettable games. My dad was with me at the Alabama game and obviously it was shaping up to be one of those games. But of course it ended as a crushing defeat. It would have been easier to lose by 21 again.

Because of his health, my dad was never able to go to another game. Like everybody else, I hated losing to Alabama in the following years but it was almost personal for me because it just rubbed salt in the wound. It's silly but I could never quite get over how my dad's last game in Tiger Stadium and what could have been his one "big game" ended.

Over the following years, we would talk about the games after every game or during the game for away games that I watched on TV. Finally beating Alabama this year was a great memory for both of us.

My dad died recently but I am glad he was around long enough to see LSU finally avenge the 2012 loss to Alabama and even to win the NC. His last game in Tiger Stadium may have gone badly but at least my dad's last LSU football season was LSU's best season ever, including a National Championship and, of course, finally beating Alabama.

I know what you mean about big games with your dad...me and my dads first and only big game we saw together was '79 USC game, I was 9 years old when he took me...

His final game he got to witness on tv was December 8th 2001 when LSU upset #2 Tennessee to win the SEC championship...I called and talked to him briefly after the game ended...he died in his sleep 2 days later...

The only answer is 21-0. It took a championship from us. It ruined one of the greatest seasons ever. It nullified 9-6. It kept us from having 4 titles in 16 years and ushered in the Bama streak.

21-0.

End of thread

I have quite a few games in mind but that baseball game against Stony Brook sticks with me the most because I lost alot of money on that game to a friend of mines who still brags about that game till this day. That was the best college baseball team I have never heard of and they whooped our arse real good.
