Not looking good?

If? They’re playing. Rain chances diminish later in the day

First pitch will be around 9-10pm

If they play, balls will be thrown and hit with bats, players thrown out and runs scored.
When they play, see above comment.

Not sure, but you can be sure that if it’s raining in the evening, or even there’s a threat around 6, they’ll get everyone in the stadium, wait 2 minutes before the anthem, delay the game 4.5 hours and not tell anyone anything. Leaving everyone just sitting in the stadium confused. See Tennessee game 1 for reference.

This was what I didn't get. We sat there for nearly three hours without any announcement or information. All they had to do was give periodic PA updates on the lightning and tentative plans. Just any type of communication would have been nice.

I mean there has to be information to give. Would you like them to say every 30 minutes we're still in a delay and monitoring the weather?

No. What im saying is just to come on there every 30 min or so and give an update that they are full bore trying to get that game in that night. If I sat there for 3.5 hours and then find out they were postponing it to Saturday with no communication prior to that...i would have been fckng pissed. In business...any communication is better than dead silence. Regardless of the level of information to give.

Sounds like you waited through the storm and gave up on the team early and missed the greatness at 1:15 AM

I don’t disagree with you that there should be an announcement over the PA in the stadium, but it’s on you for just sitting and waiting wondering what’s going on.
All you have to is follow LSU Baseball or any of the regular beat writers that report on LSU baseball and they give you a full one hour notice of when you can expect the game to start.

I mean as long as the teams are still at the stadium they're trying to play the game at some point. Not sure what you want them to say.
