I was raised to hate Ole Miss. My mother hated them and only allowed me to 'curse' when I was a child by saying "Go to HELL Ole Miss!" Also the very first time I went to an Ole Miss game in Oxford I was maybe 8 and some old haggard rebel lady got in my face and screamed at me. I knew from then on it would be nothing but hate for that place!

i'll be honest....i don't really hate Ole Miss. Maybe its because they've been bad for so long. My dad said when he was young Ole Miss/LSU was one of the biggest rivalries in college....i just dont see it. I hate Auburn & Alabama much more than anyone else in the SEC

I grew up in Biloxi. Most of the people I knew growing up we're huge Ole Miss fans and have me crap for liking the Tigers. Now when I go back you see LSU stuff everywhere. I am not sure which pisses me off more.

They've really never been a threat, so it's hard to actually hate them. Their fan base all looks exactly the same, kind of like a collegiate Catholic High, so there's that. But other than that.

1. While playing in a golf tournament, a lady (complete stranger) asked me where the long drive/closest to the pin contest flags were. I pointed her to my cart, telling her, "It's the one with the LSU headcovers." To which she exclaimed, "Go to Hell.". I'm like...I don't even know you lady....Later found out she was an Ole Miss Grad.

The 1969 team would have played Texas in the Cotton Bowl, #1 rush offense against #1LSU rush defense, I was a very sick 8th grade kid after Archie who upset us.

I was conditioned to hate them as kid. Unlike now it seems every store had Go to hell ole miss on their signs.
