Xactly. Other than his 24/7 ranking, no clear separation shown on the field.

Fournette separated himself from Hilliard last night.

He's a true freshmen who is clearly the best back on our roster.

If our OL is really as bad as it looks.. it makes Fournette as billed. 5.2 ypc

LF is a threat running or receiving. Just being on the field draws attention from defenders. Rantards don't understand what what defensive keys are. LF is always going to be keyed on so of course is going to be tough for him. D.Willy and Hilliard suck offs don't realize their Tds came from the threat of LF in the backfield.

He's raw, a great talent that lacks great vision. He also seems a little under utilized. Hopefully, his vision will improve with time and he will develop into an elite sec back.

Hilliard had picked up one on nice consecutive runs. Then we passed three straight times and had to punt. Some things just don't make sense.

Some of y'all are going a little overboard with the "clearly better" stuff and some of this other talk. Yes, his ypc average is better by some tenths of a yard on Williams and Hilliard (though they have more TDs and appear to block better). I think Fournette will be the best receiver of the bunch (though that's receiving).

I want to see him get more carries in the 2nd half and then we may see that clear separation. But again...coaching... I think that could be where he really stands out.

He's only played two games against decent teams and I'm already seeing improvement/maturation with each carry. I've never seen an LSU rb break out as a star this early in their true freshman year so he's not behind the curve. And even guys like Justin Vincent, Broussard, and hill only showed modest flashes until much later in their freshman years. The difference is we weren't watching them and expecting them to be Adrian Peterson so early so it SEEMED like they were fantastic right from the start.

He's just average at this point. Nothing special. If he was a 3 star, nobody would be paying him any attention with his performance so far.

Bull crap. If he had come in without hype the two runs against SHSU alone would have made him a fan favorite. He's better than the older guys but Miles is playing them anyway. Laughable that 18 is getting meaningful carries over him.

The playcalling is predictable. I can't be the only one that called 3 of the 4 plays on the goal line fail series. Many of you probably also called the 4th down option.

I don't really care what those two guys said about him.

Fact is after 4 games he's yet to impress.
Obv it's not all his fault, a guy gets hyped like he is, has and was really has no where to go besides disappointment.

Hopefully he'll gain steam as yr goes by.

For a true freshman, he has been very good. He seemed to run with more tenacity this week than the previous weeks. He will be very good in short order. If I have to find a weakness, I thought that he was a bit faster than he has shown. He is however very fast for his size.
