Exactly. He should get the bulk of the carries. It would be nice if we could block and play out of something other than the power I.

lacking vision, goes down at first contact, obvious physical gifts but isn't putting it together. Oline isn't doing him any favors. I wish we would've went hard after Sony Michel.

No running back can successful over the long haul when you get 4 out over every 10-12 carries. He needs to get the Jeremy Hill treatment. He is the main guy and magee and hilliard share secondary role just like last year. It may not be obvious how good he can be but there are small signs that show if he can wear down a defense 1-3 quarters the 4th is when he will dominate but he doest get the chance to show that.

Tell me where I'm wrong. How could he not be all hype up until this point? And the hiesman pose? Against ULM?

Overhype product of social media.

Dont really know. Avg. 5 ypc cant really get going on 7 carries a game.o-line is garbage. Defenses key on him on him when his in the game. So cant really give a true assessment

I knew it a year ago with the gang sign and the tee shirts and the stupid buganation.

The next AP? Please. I know what my eyes saw when AD was a freshman at OU and LF is nothing like that. Not one bit, he's big, that's all.

Hasn't stood out at all.
Special teams or offense.

Lots of hype so far.
Little substance.

Underutilized. He had 7 carries for 388 yards. That is pretty good considering our line and their fronts. I can not understand why he didn't carry the ball the second half. However, he has been brought down far too easily, and hasn't escaped when he should, doesn't beat that "last" guy on too many occasions. He is a good back who deserves more carries, but he is no Herschel, Bo, or Cecil. Or Hill, for that matter at this point.

Hard to tell when he's had no blocking. Physical freak though.

I expected him to make that DB miss on his 20 yard carry last night. Play was blocked perfectly (any of our backs would have picked up 20 yds) and when I saw him one in one with the DB I thought this is gonna be 6...nope he was tackled easily

Faulk, Dalton Hilliard, Hill and quite a few other ex lsu backs score or get much more on that play. I think DW at least would have fun through the guy,

Hes impatient and needs to run harder. He doesnt get low enough on the tackler, if he did he would bounce off.

Doesn't see holes well - look at every k.o. return - and has little blocking to create a hole in the first place.
