There ya go! That is a good start.
And if you run around yelling "frick FLORIDA", you will make even more friends and you will get fed until your tummy explodes.

Tailgating is going to be not what you are expecting this game. Campus will be very dead Saturday morning.

Please know beforehand that this will not be the normal LSU Tailgating or Death Valley experience. Do not judge us after this game. There will be significantly fewer tailgates than normal, and I would be shocked to see 75k in the stadium. We really won't be that loud either.
That being said, I would probably Ubering to the game or parking in the free parking lots early, like 8AM at the latest. Walk around for a couple hours trying out different tailgates. Honestly your best bet is to just pretend you are a clueless Aggie living in Utah thats never seen this kind of atmosphere. If you see someone cooking a big arse pot of something, go ask them about it. Don't assume you are invited, but most people will want you to try our classic LA tailgating food. Then likely get you a beer or something. Be nice, offer money, but hopefully they don't make you pay. If all else fails, you can email me at my handle @gmail.com. No promises I will remember to respond though.... The band goes down the hill at 9:40, so I would leave to go check that out at about 9:30AM. Go check out Mike in his cage. Then walk into the stadium.... After the game, I'd probably go to The Chimes, get a BBQ Shrimp Poboy, and some beers, check out the rooftop, and watch the UF Auburn game. Then once you are done eating and drinking, traffic should have died down. I would either go straight out or go nap for like an hour then go out at night. Where are you staying? If Downtown, then I'd just stay Downtown. If not, then I would go to Perkins Road Overpass area or Government St.

We will be out around 730. Our location is the triangle at tower drive/dalrymple. Look for the no step on snek flag. Will be a small one this week, stop by.

Tailgating for an 11 am kickoff will be weak.
We set up every home game and even we’re not this weekend.
Now for Florida... my oh my make sure you come to campus that day!

Unfortunately, the 11am kickoff pretty much kills the tailgating atmosphere for this game. You can still see the band go down the hill though

Don't play loud music around old people's set up. TIA

Wear your team’s gear and take the trash talk in stride.
The same guys ribbing you will gladly offer you a beer or soda and plate of food.
Based on my experiences with Utah culture, you guys should have a great time and will be embraced by many tailgaters.

Just tell people you’re Mormon. Get them fascinated right away.

quote:Have fun, but seriously doubt you get the full experience at 11a. Your best bet for the full LSU experience for a tailgate game day would be a night game.
full LSU experience

Dont think the bank performance time is correct. Normally it is about 10 minutes before kickoff.
