What Is Les Miles Really Doing?

OPINIONS ONLY! Please Do Not Hate! With the Media constantly speculating his next move, how can we get/demand any updates as TAF supporters. Or better yet, what are we really supporting? Comments!!

What are you implying? That he listens to the media more than regular fans? I think he's going to make what he thinks is the best decision regardless of what you, I, or the papers think.

Its like this. The media has a job and that is reporting news/stories.
Les has a job and that is doing what is best for his team.
Just because you hear/dont hear things from the media doesnt mean nothing is going on.
Seriously, just because he isnt reporting his every move doesnt mean nothing is being done. Calm down and if something isnt done after the bowl game then start complaining.

The man is paid to perform a job and make decisions. As a TAF member, I can honestly say I do not feel entitled to any "inside information" about the athletic programs at LSU. I am a member because I support them and am a fan.
As far as the decision Les is contemplating, let him do his job. He knows more about the inner workings and deals that need to be made to make/not make a hire. If you are that impatient, leave TAF, become a pee wee football coach, work your way up through the HS ranks, then on to college as an assistant, then to a HC position at St Mary's School for the Blind. Then, maybe you would be qualified to tell him what decision he should make. Until then, give it time and support the Tigers. If he does not make the right decision, it will be reflected on the field, the administration will notice, and we will bring in someone who can make the right choices. Unless you are one of those "fair weather" fans, it's not like you are going to denounce the school.

I do not think he(Les Miles) feels like a true family member,kinda like that brother in law that you never really liked. You kinda accepted him because of your sister. Alot of fans when I talk to them thats kinda what I get back. I could be wrong but thats what I feel.

I wrote a nice long letter to Coach Miles in my own handwriting, and, I told him that if he preferred to make no changes on his coaching staff, then, that's " OK " !
Then I wished him a "Merry Christmas" and closed with
HAVE A GREAT DAY !
I wonder if I'll get a letter in response?
Maybe a Christmas Card?

very well said. miles will make his changes and if they are not right and he has 4 or 5 in the L column next year he might lose his job and i believe he is aware of this so let him make his changes his way and give the man a chance to fix this problem.

FWIW,tThis is what we were told after Florida game...and then after the Georgia game...and then after the Troy game...and then after the Ole Miss game.
Except replace "bowl" with "Arkansas".
And yet here we are.....so we're complaining.
And people are continuing to make excuses as to why nothing has been done to make themselves feel better
