"Insist?" I didn't even realize it was you.

Matter of fact, I seldom pay attn to user names and focus more on posts.

You're not honestly saying that he's on the hot seat are you??? The man JUST won a NC for Christs sake and will soon have the #1 recruiting class. Do you really think Miles' gives a shite about TAF?? Like i said, he doesnt have to tell anyone anything, you should be used to that by now.

Plus, do you really think a DC is going to leave his current school (or announce he's leaving) before his teams bowl game? Get a clue.

Seems a few are in defense mode, which is what the HAT should be concerned with opinions only, we should not hate

Yeah cause we didn't know Pelini was leaving before last year's bowl, course that was just a National Championship.

Why? Cause some morons on a message board think he should make his decision quicker??

Still fits your post.

I guess it doesn't apply to OC's either? Like when Jimbo bolted? Pretty sure he stayed till after the bowl game.

Point being, it does happen.

nope, don't drink crap like coke or pepsi.... just water, orange juice or gator aid. well every now and again a good red wine for the blood.

my feelings for LSU go back to when i met people like Warren Rabb, Johnny Robinson, W. J. Brodnax, Billy Cannon, Micky Mangum as a kid. meeting Paul Diezel as a kid and cried when he left for Army.....as a kid! I love LSU and everything it stands for but there was a cheap hire by the same guy that hired Smoke Laval.....our old A.D. 'Stanley' got a cheap hire and that cheap hire had some luck with a good senior group that had good leadership skills that trickled down from their 4/5 years in a program that someone else started. and i thought, i'd never say what i'm saying but things change. if you can't see that we do not have a real winner, against the coaches he has to coach against in the future where he is at? being paid what he is being paid? we have a difference of opinion of things!!!

i currently like the direction that our other sports team are going in 'but' the bread winner is football and revenue of sales of Tiger items are down about 75% from a year ago and the markets are crumbling before your eyes! how do you lovers of such a program suggest that this delimma gets solved?

if you were huey long, what would you do? or
get on with the show? ask yourself, do we need a smoke laval era in football, this day and time?

Now you're spinning. Before you go round telling others "to get a clue" get one yourself.

Matter of opinion and much debated by MANY LSU fans, as well as many CFB fans. Obviously not "stupid" but not always "smart", either.

This is what I don't get. Obviously there is absolutely nothing to suggest that Les Miles' tenure will be anything like Smoke Laval's since it has been nothing like it so far. And yet, for absolutely no reason, you embrace the negative possibility with no basis whatsoever. If the success or failure of LSU football actually does matter to you (in a positive way), this absolutely will increase your frustration. That's just simple physiology.

If, on the other hand, you thought about more positive potentialities instead (like, say, future performances more in line with Miles' consistent history of success), then your mood would improve. I highly recommend it, because the negativity has absolutely zero chance of helping anything or anyone in any way, and it's killing you.

Oh....my....God. Are you serious?? Please explain to me how Miles won more games in '05 than the previous coach did in '04 with the same players. It was all because of the players huh? Were you calling for Sabans head in '02 or '04?? im gonna guess no.

Why not? Saban blew SEC-championship talent plus another top 5 recruiting class with an 8-5 season, a Cotton Bowl loss, and an unranked finish. Clearly that set the pattern for his future endeavors, exactly as Miles' 7-5 season (with a bowl still pending) have set the pattern for his future endeavors.

For some reason, people can only see the negative history repeating itself. Show them a championship team that follows it up with a 5 loss season, and do they see the 2001-2002-2003 scenario? No, they see the 1997-1998-1999 scenario, even though the '97 team didn't win a championship, the '98 team wasn't within two games of 7-5, we have much better recruiting now (especially comparing this class with the '99 one) and we haven't even heard whether this year's DCs will be kept like Tepper was after '98.
