The rant wants him to be good so bad they can taste it. He’s been passed up by better players though.
Possibly the stupidest thing ever said on this forum ....

Taylor’s receiving stats are a mediocre 6 catches for 57 yards so far and he’s had several drops and doesn’t know when to break off a route and sit in an open spot in the zone. He plays like a typical true freshman. I’m sure he will get better, but he’s not ready as a pass catcher today and he hasn’t been that great as a blocker yet, either.
While this is true i believe it was bech who did the same thing when they were in zone.
Taylor is going to be good, just like perkins, but they both made mistakes.

Ignorant. I’ve never mentioned Daniels. Keep drinking.

McElroy called it out twice during the game and mentioned Taylor specifically the first time as not knowing what to do in that situation as a true freshman. I thought it was him the second time as well but could be wrong.
I agree he will likely be good, but he just isn’t ready for as big of a role as he’s getting right now. Not everyone is ready to start their freshman year.

You should read more.

Maybe, but I guess the coaches think Taylor is better at protection. I’m not a coach… but I trust their personnel decisions.
Then why ask the question?

Which question? This thread has been a journey through fanboi mislogic.

100% this. You want to take Nabors, Boutte, Jenkins or Thomas out for him?
Oh, Bech can ball right along with those guys, he's just not good enough to be a starter over Nabors, Boutte, or Jenkins.
Bech being the 4th or 5th receiver sounds about right.

Keep up those racist buzz words for white wr. Lunch pail possession locker room guy smh. Jesus

What are we going to miss if Boutte sees less action and Bech sees more? Boutte is just taking up space.

We’re not getting good Quarterback play …if we were then more guys would be able to eat ..but we’re not

Correct. Bech is our 5th best wr.
His time to shine is when Howard takes over at QB

His strength across the middle is our guys weakness.
Exactly. Boutte, Nabors and B. Thomas can all work the outside and inside, and get good YAC with the ball in their hands. Bech is a middle of the field type guy, and our QB is not proficient and confident enough to make those throws. Hopefully we'll see more confidence and execution in the coming weeks.

He got some snaps. Daniels missed him on one target
It's possible he isn't good enough to be in the starting rotation. That seems to be the obvious answer.

I would take at least half of those guys out for him.

And that’s the sad part ….wide receiver was supposed to be our biggest strength going into this season …but we’re not capitalizing on it
