All of you are right. Bech is very good, and he’ll play in the NFL, but he’s not as good as Nabers or Boutte, that’s for sure, and apparently the coaches think Brian Thomas is a little better. We’ve seen this before when Wright, Shepard and Boone caught about 10 passes among them, as they sat behind Jarvis and OBJ, then all three played in the league.
ETA: Frick! I forgot Jaray Jenkins. We are just loaded at that position.

Of course he would, if the defense was stupid enough to leave linebackers in the game to cover him. But if you replace your TE with a WR the defense will replace a LB with a DB, because they know a DB can match up with Bech in the run game.

Of course I think Nabors, Boutte, Jenkins need to be in as WR over Bech. But Bech as a TE, I think he should be in there over Taylor. IIRC Taylor dropped 2 balls, 1 wasn't a great pass to the flats, but he had hands on it.
Taylor has looked good at times and then others not that impressive. I would think as much as BK likes his TE's we would see a good mix of Bech and Taylor getting the ball. Bech isn't going to see the field a lot if he is a WR.

Taylor will likely become a very good TE, but he’s playing too much too early because of how few bodies we have there and they are forcing the ball to him too much. I would love to see Bech get some of his reps in the passing game.
bingo... Bech needs to be getting the TE split out Balls... Taylor is great no doubt, but Bech should be getting some of those balls...

That’s funny. I got called racist last week for saying there were mud sharks on campus. Maybe… just MAYBE… I like cracking jokes and stirring the pot a bit :) This place is so soft it’s not even funny anymore, like baby shite soft, count yourself included.

LSU is going no huddle alot and wants Mason Taylor in the game for running plays. Those are snaps that went to Bech with they went without a TE last year. Kelly and Denbrock want a TE.

Jenkins and Boutte are getting drafted in April. There will be 2 open starts at WR. If Bech is good enough to start, he'll start.
