Seriously though.

This is a weird thread. The guy has a ton of ability, the game plan just wasn't meant for him to shine last night. He'll have some good games for us this year.

Agreed and also probably to avoid Clemson’s front 7 from having enough time to get to Nuss on those long drop back passes

A 4 year guy doesn’t make the mistakes he made last night.

He may want to remember there are several players that will gladly take his snaps and not line up in the wrong place, won’t get a motion penalty and don’t fumble.

he is only a threat on go routes. he should of never been in on the 4th down play on a screen, he's not good side to side as you can see when he tripped over himself, barion brown might make a guy miss and get the 1st down there.

EXACTLY. Sloan exploited what Clemson gave him. Clemson wanted to prevent the deep routes so we played short routes, screens, crossing routes and ran more, It worked. Hilton will be used when it benefits the game plan.

Barion brown should get all his snaps until further notice.

Something is wrong with his head.

When you’re a supposed elite deep ball threat, you can affect the game even when you don’t make a catch. The short game opens up even more if you’re going deep and demanding a safety help. But that didn’t happen last night.

He’s not a freshman. He’s not remotely young.
This is his 5th year. He’s played 26 games and has 32 receptions, in 4 years (and 1 game this year).
Hes not that good. It’s as simple as that. We have too many weapons on offense that are simply a lot better than him. I don’t give a shite that he’s “fast”. If he was so fast and useful with it, he’d be an all sec wr by now, instead he’s like the 4th or 5th WR on this team, as well as behind both TEs as a pass catcher.

We also intentionally didn't hold the ball long enough to let a deep ball route develop. Their d line was too good to do that. Dink and dunk all night.

You don’t become a pro only running go routes.

Nice rant. However he did his job as a decoy which opened up the short game for us. He did his job. BTW he was hurt most of last year.
