I'm legitimately curious when is the last time he recorded a solid hit off of a breaking pitch? Dude fans at breaking balls as much as anyone I can ever remember.

Did a quick number crunch.
That game was on 4/8. Including that Nicholls game 27 games have been played, so almost half the season.
He is 26/112. Batting .232 the second half of the season.
He is 2/22 , .090 in the sec tournament and regional.
To fully answer the mystery, in the first 33 games he batted .397. So yes the porta potty was cursed.

It appears it was a set up by Nicholls to get back at us for taking Jacob Mayers from them. And it worked.

Assuming you are correct, that means he was 53 for 137 (.389) before the porta potty incident. Chicken may be on to something here. That's over .150 drop
