Retain a coach who must be fired in order to get his team focused?

He’s fired. Accept it and move on.

He has.

You are aware he’s been fired? Part of the reason is so assholes like you wont keep asking “what if”

What if coach O agrees to actually interview people he hires?
What if coach O agrees to stop acting like a fool?
What if coach O learns how to be a head coach?

Run the table could be a natty.
If he won the natty he’s coming back

Would anyone want to reconsider O for the job?

If he somehow runs the table he should at least get an interview for the job and be considered. He would probably have the best resume of anyone we would be considering.

He will not get another shot here at LSU, despite running the table. If he does run the table, though, it puts us in a much better spot for the next guy coming in and it also gives O a better chance to land on his feet somewhere else. I'd love nothing more than to see the Tigers win out and thank Coach O for working hard even after he knew it was over.

Then O would go out with a 9-3 season and a possible bowl win. I hope we do for the sake of recruiting.

He's finished at LSU no matter how the rest of the season plays out. He probably loses against Ole Miss.

I would love to see the Tigers win though.

It just proves that he has been meddling

And once he got moved out of the way, the players and coaches did a better job without his constant interference to keep his job
