His failure to make the CFP with that roster he had last year was epic. The losses to LSU and Kentucky were amazingly bad.

You’re exactly right! Who leaves Ohio St. and an easy BIG10 conference to come to LSU in the SEC?

He does make me nervous but you're guaranteed at minimum to be great on the offensive side. He just has to nail the defensive hire and you're golden because he'll get the money for personnel here.

Fire the entire offensive staff & replace them with who? And then, your new coach is going to bring in his new staff. So......who takes this job now knowing a new coach will not retain him? Pure BS.

Kiffin's team last year was more talented than the majority of NCAA. He had a playoff caliber talented team last year and squandered it with the second highest $$$ roster in the country.

This board is an odd obsession thinking Ole Miss is the same program from 10 years ago like they're some doormat with no money. Ole Miss has set their NIL program up better than LSU which is why LSU is just now starting to catch up. Kiffin has been supported extremely well at Ole Miss.

So that talent argument is ridiculous to bring up on Ole Miss as to why Kiffin hasn't been successful enough. He hasn't been successful anywhere he has been but I do think he has matured and is basically autistic when it comes to offensive play design. He seems to get in trouble a lot when he gets leads with his PCing. The flow of the game up until that point he's one of the best in the game.

It’s as relevant and reliable from any other “source “.
But really Kiffin is a bad move.

This is why I have zero faith in anyone making the right change necessary.

Seems like it’s gonna be the norm
Of LSU head coaching changes, and we are gonna be stuck with something none of us truly want.

LSU is already courting the interest of some big names for the potential opening. Kiffin is the name that keeps coming up and is the obvious fit.

Kiffin really would be a good fit. That’s the kind of character we need, not some stick up his arse Yankee like Kelly.

frick firing the offensive staff. That does nothing. Useless stopgap measure. Get a new head coach. BK cannot recover.
