The only teams who have played anybody with a pulse are LSU, Texas, UGA and Notre Dame. The real season is just now starting and some of these juggernauts will look a lot more wobbly by the end of October

Clemson has an off night.

Bama had an off 17 minutes

Oklahoma was slow but still impressive

Ohio State beat the brakes off Nebraska

Northwestern showed me UW is very vulnerable... hope they split the series 1-1 with OSU.

Auburn looked pretty legit.

Miss State is bad and Kentucky is worse.

ATM is suspect at best

You gotta throw Auburn in there...

We learned that Clemson is not the #1 team. You can't go into Chapel Hill and need a failed 2-point conversion to beat a 2-2 UNC team, and expect to be ranked #1
I understand your point and agree but a little falsehood here. They didn't need the failed 2 point conversion to win. An extra point in that place and they play on in a tie.

I learned without pressure we will be in a shoot out with Bama. We need a pash rush super badly. If you can get to Tua we will have a chance.

Ohio State?...maybe.

Who have they played? This happens every year. Ohio State shines against the cupcake early schedule, and then fricks up big late in the season. Looking at Wisky to take them out this season.

Gave up 31 actual points put up by the ole miss defense. Wasn’t impressed with their defense. Or ole misses defense for that matter.

Bamas injuries before the season really hurt them. The young linebackers they have are struggling. Still tua with those receivers are a legit that at scoring on any play.

Aubie is legit but Moo U made them look even better. Garret Brown and their DL are a bunch of hosses! They should beat UF.

Wisky is beatable and fully expect The OSU to beat them when they cross paths.

PAC 12 outside of Utah, Washington and Oregon is garbage. The conference will be left out of the playoff party. Helton won't keep his gig at USC.

The OSU, granted the competition, has a good argument to be at least top 2 AT THIS MOMENT. Let's see what they look like by first week of November.

Bama's D has the same issue as LSU with their offense scoring too quickly and putting them back in the field of play too soon. Their young LBs are still adjusting. Our game with them could be an epic shootout fest. Having said that I would move them to number one AT THIS MOMENT and by a hair over The OSU at second. Not much difference between the two right now.

Clemson is most certainly NOT the number one program right now. They have some issues to work out and if they do they could very well be back at top in soon order. I put them a solid three right now.

Hurts has come a long way as a passer. Still not the most accurate but better than when he was a Gump. Don't think he should be the fav for Hesimann but he should be in the conversation no doubt.

Both Mississippi programs are Gawd awful and the bottom half of SEC is horrid. USCe, SCAR, Vandy, Moo U, Ole Piss, Arky all weak sauce. KY better than how they played today but not much better than the other ones. Mizzou somewhere between average and mediocre.

Agreed.

I see them making a run at Meyer, not for HC but for AD. They have no AD as of now.

Agree with this as well. They're not chopped liver but they aren't who they were last year. The messed up part is that if they keep winning, they'll still be the #1 conscensus. Regarless of how they look. Being the defending champs gives the a teeny leg up. Not much but some.

I've been impressed with Auburn's defense. They're for real. Bo Nix is a true freshman and things typically don't go well for a true freshman. Not through the entire season.

We'll see what happens next week.

Auburn is legit, A&M is not.

Bama looks alot like us, elite offensively and lacking defensively. Scores insanely fast, damn near at will. Spread passing game is explosive and unstoppable with the 5-star athletes both teams have. Both defenses have elite talent, but have had serious injuries and are not playing up to standard.

Clemson is not what they were last year. They're beatable for sure.

Oklahoma is an offensive juggernaut, but I need to see em play a real defense before I know if they're capable of winning a playoff game.

I still don't know what to think about Georgia or Florida.

Ohio St might the team I am most impressed by. Elite on both sides. Fields is legit. We'll see when they play Michigan and Wisconsin, but I expect they'll make it to the playoffs undefeated.

Tigers are not going anywhere if the defense does not learn to tackle; if they do not find a dominant number one running back;if the OL lets Vandy hit Burrow that way, what will Fla, Auburn, Bama’s defense do to him?
What everyone else in the country has doesn’t mean two shites right now if the Tigers don’t take care of business the next six weeks
The margin of error is zero to make this season special and their season will be defined the next 6 weeks

Bama and Clemson are more vulnerable than they have been. The refs called holding on Bama in Tuscaloosa.. amazing. The Bama Offense is so good. Don’t see them getting beaten at home. LSU can do it but many many things will have to go right.

Auburn looks tougher than expected. And Florida. Both come to BTR and both are beatable . We will have to play very very well to,beat Auburn.

Ohio StAte is very good. More solid on defense than expected. Fields and their skill players are very good.

Hurts is incredible at Oklahoma. Big test against Texas coming.

Bottom line. The playoffs even the NC is achievable. Defense has to get better. Offense has to protect. Urrow against the better SEC defenses Bama Auburn and Florida. That is why the game is played on the field.
