13-13 against SEC opponents in his career, and he makes 10 million per year. Some stats are just well, unbelievable.
. 100% of people making $50K a year would be fired if they had this performance record. Coaching is a great job if you can get it and handle the pressure.

I'll never understand these questions.

Since he joined the SEC as a HC he was a top 5 overall coach in wins. That's at Ole Miss.

What has anyone won? Exactly who do you want that has won more and is realistic?

I just don't understand what these people want. They certainly aren't realistic.

What has anyone won? If someone has won a Natty it's pretty unlikely they are leaving. He built an Ole Miss team that had a chance at a Natty when nobody expected it.

When LSU hired Kiffin he was top 5 in wins and he did that in the SEC at Ole Miss.

Only coaches above him were like Smart, Day, Dabo and maybe DeBoer or someone.

You aren't getting Smart or Day. You don't want Dabo and you probably didn't want DeBoer at the time.

What in the world do these people who say what have they won want?

It's ridiculous how quickly some turn on a coach.

If this idiot were a fan of Indiana, he would have hated Kirk Cignetti in year 1.

Completely irrelevant when you are now paying players. LSU has one of the highest paid rosters in the country. You have no time to wait. The whole roster will be flipped next year and the year after. It’s year 1 every year

Really?

Which teams have been able to win the National Championship based only on talent and money spent in year one of a new coach?

It takes more than a year to get your culture in place.

Until that happens, no amount of talent bought will win it all. For evidence: Aggy.

And as more evidence: DeBoer at Bama. Took over a Ferrari and has 2 4 loss seasons. This is his 3rd season.

Bama has the talent, but they're losing the culture.

I guess I’ll just keep reposting the answer to the OP’s question that none of the sky screamers seem interested in responding to

Two conference USA titles in three years at FAU after taking over a three win team.

Why do all of these clowns always act like that didn’t happen when they post this kind of bullshite melt.

He also got Ole Miss into the playoff but wasn’t allowed to coach his team by a pissy and bitter administration, so he very well could have won more last year at a mid level SEC program

Bama has a better team than LSU, right now.

Good thing we play though, it can be a big moment for LK

Yeah, UF is really killing it…oh wait.

UK- oops. Got raped at home for an entire half by Bama.

Auburn-

Arkansas-

Indiana- go check the games when they played a real team in year one.

But please- feel free to point out all of the examples of year one teams that don’t have ups and downs, especially when injuries hit, instead of relying on your casual vibes-based bullshite.
