I’ll be happy and fired up. I’m an LSU fan. My only point is, again, people that speak in absolutes. Until the ink dries on the LOI, he is ONLY a verbal. And, playing devil’s advocate regarding the recruits, you can’t have it both ways. If the talent is so much better this year, the wins should follow. I was only asking what if they don’t.

You are laughing, but who won? Troy,ULM,UCF, Appalachian state. I know that the best teams don't always win. But they were the better team on those days.

You're rationalizing the loss to Troy by claiming they were just better. Fans like you are why 9 win seasons are now considered a success.

You don't put anything on Canada - Canada was a arse - he was a cancer on the staff. Push O in the ground all you want but Canada didn't give the I can run any offense based on what I have. He had a 1st round running back and made him look out of place. Canada fuched Lsu and CEO.
He should have never hired Canada in the first place. Canada had no defined offense and outside of that one year at Pittsburgh with an established group of guys, he really did nothing special. It was a lazy hire. All the idiots jumped on the Canada bandwagon on here and Ed decided to do the same because he was a Broyles finalist. It was the same reason why he hired Ensminger. Lazy arse hire where he doesn't have to look around.

A 5-star played LSU and put us in a bind on signing day - happens- Lets see how we stand by the time we play Miami

No Ed put in a bind. Another kid wanted to commit but they were holding out for the 5 star. There were also other guys during the year that we could have went harder on. That position had no depth, yet we didn't get one player from high school. They need to go after no less than 3 this year since the transfer will be gone and likely Greedy as well.

I'll take any and all recruits that has an offer sheet with Texas, Texas A&M, Alabama, Auburn, Notre Dame. This tells more of their talent and ability than how many stars they have at the end of their name!!!!!! O has done a good job so for. I hope he continues to make the right moves, if not, he won't be here long!!! The people who are negative at this point, will not like him even if he wins the National championship.

I swear you and I were somehow separated at birth. I can't recall any of your posts that I've ever disagreed with.

Coach O is the Donald Trump of college football. These fricking haters just keep on hating while Coach O keeps doing the things needed to MLSUFGA.

Unlike you, I would take 90% of the other coaches over Ceauxch Eaux. Just sayin'.

I never thought I'd see the day when LSU hired the worst coach in Ole Miss history.

I am not rationalising anything. I am stating a fact, plus I said that they were the better team on that day. Fans like me has nothing to do with LSU winning and losing. But fans like me want them to win every game that they play. However I don't trash O when they do lose.

This isn't even remotely true. But, I guess it sounds good, right?

It baffles me that people can't understand why fans want to boycott games and want to demand excellence instead of just going along with the company line. Alleva sat up there at that microphone and once said that he was committed to hiring a proven winner and then later introduced a proven loser. IMO, Alleva should have been fired before Orgeron ever took the podium.

"They were just the better team that day" is the definition of rationalizing a loss to a subpar opponent. I can provide the definition, if needed.

You're stating opinions, not facts.

Fans like me has nothing to do with LSU winning and losing.

Never said you did. I said fans like you are the reason 9 win seasons are now considered a success, which is a completely different sentiment.

quote:

But fans like me want them to win every game that they play.

We all do, some of us just don't rationalize and accept losing to a Sun Belt team.

quote:

However I don't trash O when they do lose.

See above about 9 win seasons.

Obviously. The real reason is because I'm rational. I give credit where it is due, but I don't take ridiculous logic leaps to try and prop up someone who doesn't deserve it. You seem to be of the same mindset.

Do you watch LSU football? Greedy #1 returning QB in CFB. I would put Delpit up against any safety in country this year. Depth, I agree is a problem
