It will be interesting when LSU plays the names of all of the players currently in the NFL on the screen during the 4th quarter vs Clemson. Will his picture be on the screen?

If so, and this isn't settled, how will our fans react?

Why wouldn't it be?

Look at the thread about the NIL lawyer's stance on this. They can't block LSU from using his image and likeness in fact based, historical ways.

As long as we win, I really don't care what they show.

They can't sell his NIL. But they can show historical data. He doesn't own that.

Now the jerseys that are for sale will be gone. Only reason they take down the highlights is if LSU plays the petty game.

That's one way to be petty.

My preference on being petty would be to maximize the use of his highlights and pictures under the historical umbrella. Go balls to the wall with it and put stuff everywhere about him, but just short of any kind of commercial promotion.

Make it absurd and force them to try to fight the absurdity.

I say remove him and stop promoting him.
Keep his Heisman in Ops but that’s it.

I would support this as well, his mother would blow a gasket and I am here for it. I support LSU being petty in whichever way they want in response to this.

I either want this or them to completely eliminate him from everything. I want no in between.

I couldn't care less. Im fired up for this new era. frick JD if he wants to act like a baby. His number could still be retired. It's not the end of the world if our 5 star db wears it for a couple of years. Now he has pissed off the entire fan base.

Probably a similar reaction to what Ben Simmons' picture received in the PMAC
