What happens to non student who gets caught using a student ID?

They don't usually look hard at them. And they would take it and turn you around

They look for matching haircl color, I think.

Depends on the game and which staff worker you get. Some won't even check, some will hold you up. The student whose ID you're using can get in trouble if you aren't a good liar.

When I was in High School I used to use my cousin's ID to get into MSU games. She was a MSU cheerleader and a millions times better looking than me.

It can depend on the person checking them but majority of the time if it scans you are in. They don't really care.

I tried to go to a basketball game with a friend who was a student, but had lost his ID and had to borrow someone else's. I didn't think it would be a big deal if he acted casual, but they caught him and wouldn't let him in. It may depend on which worker you get.

Laughable....
As for the ID question, I lent mine to a non-student who got caught. They did not allow him admittance and turned my in student ID. Got a call from the Dean of my school 3 days later and I had some explaining to do. I said my wallet was stolen, along with my ID, and never waivered. They finally just said, "oh well".
