Coming into the season, pre season 1st team All American.

Dude has a piss pour attitude for most of the year. Caught 1 TD and I swear he did not break a single tackle this year. Dude fell down on first contact everytime.

I know part of it is Daniels but you’d think a supposed FRP could make a few more plays.

It’s like he forgot how to play football in one season. Is there an injury that bagged him all season?

2 preseason surgeries had an effect - he is CLEARLY slower.

Plus his QB doesn't love throwing the ball.

Go watch Boutte play the 2 years prior. He was getting the ball downfield. Daniels can't get him the ball on any plays outside of bubble screens or some other sideline lateral throw.

Boutte was never that type of guy.

He was too busy cashing them Gordon McKernan checks to be worried about being an elite ball player.

If Daniels was your QB, how motivated would you be?

Jayden held on to the ball too long tonight.

Fact.

Bouttes talent is wasted this season. Nabers is Daniels go to and first choice.

It’s not his fault his qb can’t get him the ball down the field.

Looks heavier. Still recovering from injury most likely. Seemed engaged most of the season so don’t think it was that.

This year really hurt his draft stock more than if he would’ve just sat out.

He's not explosive anymore. It's evident. He had no juice in that screen last night. No electricity.

How exactly do you know what his attitude has been this year? And there have been multiple times that he has gotten the ball and gone on to break tackles. The problem is that we haven’t been able to get him the ball in the open field.

Y’all really think he was looking at a possible top 10 draft pick position and just decided to stop trying?

You cannot blame Daniels for Boutte's drops, lazy routes or his failure to run with the ball after catching. Boutte was just going thru the paces this year.
He showed last December that he was ambivalent about playing for LSU.
He could at least play for himself. He didn't, and it cost him a lot of money.
Hope he adopts a new attitude and makes it in the NFL.

If not fully recovered from injuries he will have four months until the combine to do so. That will determine his draft stock far more than his stats this season.
