Ole Miss. Late in the season, on the road, Matt Corral can sling it, Kiffin is a pretty solid coach, rivalry game, etc.

Remember the beat down we gave them after the last time they beat us? We may not win by 6 TDs again, but I’ll take LSU ats in that matchup this year no matter how much we’re favored.

I’m gonna go with the Florida game. They’ll have revenge on their mind too and that series seems to go back and forth more than any other we play except Auburn. Expecting a down year from them though.

No other team besides bama has a shot at beating us.

What’s the next question?

Our first game at State, let's not get it twisted as delusional as most of our fans are about how we should be considered along the same lines as USC, Bama, OSU, Oklahoma, etc which is completely ridiculous since our history mostly resembles that of overrated labeled blue blood Texas. This game is our first game without Bo, without Ensminger, ON THE ROAD, with experienced players, the first time we've played State since they beat us opening game last year. We have to perform and reassert our dominance as a top team particularly since it's a road game. We do that and it sets the right tone for the rest of the season. There's a lot of anxiety and apprehension but also anticipation and excitement because of what this game precisely entails.

I hope the defense will be elite as this may be needed to get to the SECCG.

As an LSU fan and a person who wants to beat Bama all the time, there ain't no way in hell we beat Bama this season. With Notre Dame likely on track for an undefeated season to finish top 4 for the Playoff, best we can hope for if we win all our games outside of Bama is top 10 which is completely acceptable to me.

I mean obviously UCLA is scary just because first game and have to travel way out west with new coordinators on both sides of the ball. But I expect talent alone to get past UCLA. I think Ole Miss is the game though that offense is going to be scary good this year and with how bad their defense was last year it cannot get any worse for them it can only go up from where they were last year. Every game is going to be tough though it is the SEC. I think we are going to see a lot of upsets this year in the league just because middle of the pack teams like Mizzou kentucky heck even arkansas are not going to be bad football teams.

Every SEC game plus UCLA.

I'm very hopeful, but the jury's still out as they say...

Ole Miss. They are going to be very good on offense, it's on the road, and the it's the week after a tough home game vs Florida. On the positive side they had the the third to last defense in the entire country last year. Even moderate improvement there would make them go from absolutely awful to just bad.

This is always the case for me. They will always play out their minds against us and I hate losing to them more than anyone else. I'm just glad we no longer have a coach that overlooks them annually

Prolly Ole miss and Kentucky maybe miss at. I am really worried one of these teams are going to stun us. In all seriousness i think we will play well and hopefully win all the other game including Alabama

Florida and Ole Miss. Florida mostly because for some reason Dan Mullen seems to have O’s number more than any other coach. The home team doesn’t always have the advantage, the revenge factor and they have talent.

Ole Miss because they have a new coach who is good, knows Ed O, they have a really good offense and players coming back at positions of importance. Its an away game and the revenge factor here as well.

We’ll see how talented we are on offense and defense this year but we’ll have our hands full in these two games for sure. They could both end up being games where we pull away for certain reasons as well so who knows?

secondary is obnoxiously talented. If used the right way they could be legendary.

If this DC can get our defense to play as a unit like his previous team in the Vikings then our defense could really get back to being a defense that only allows 0-10 points in most of their games, especially games where the talent level is lopsided like this one seems to be.

This all despite offenses now dominating the football scene. LSU can be that type of defense again and surprise the football nation. If we hold UCLA to 10 or less in our first game, look the hell out! If everyone is healthy and at 100% then I could see a game where we have like 5-6 sacks, 2-3 INTs and hold them to less than 75 yards rushing! If that happens then this will be a slaughterhouse!
