LSU:
Fred Booker from Hammond (they probably had the best DBs in the state in 99)

LeBrandon Toefield from Independence - His/my Sophmore year, I got a good hit on him while he was making a cut, but he didn't play his best against us on a wet field... they still won a low scoring game. Had to keep him running laterally because once he turned upfield it was dangerous.

Kendrick Allen and Erin Damond from Bogalousa. Kendrick Allen abused us. Damond made us look like the slow team we were.

Otherwise:
Best Athlete was 5'9" Ronald McClendon without question. Anyone who played against him as a Junior would probably agree. He won the 5A 100meters, AA RB in JUCO, and signed with Ole Miss.

Russell Shepard. Both of our junior years. We went up 17-0 in the first quarter and he scored twice in less than a minute and never looked back. It sucks he was not utilized correctly as a tiger

Henry Shortess was a hell of a tennis player in high school. Incredible athlete for a 5 ft. 9 guy

Not exactly what you are looking for, but the closest that I can come is that I lost a snowball fight to Bert Jones and Tommy Cassanova.

Let's just say my friend got BECKHAMED!

Your post makes me ask: Why didn't someone think of "Catch it like Beckham" while he was playing?

Or did they?

I played for Christian life academy I played with dexter Alexander who walked on at LSU

FR yr: Chad Jones as a senior at southern Lab

Soph yr: Deangelo Peterson and Lavar Edwards as seniors at desire street academy

SR yr: Brad wing at parkview see dileo was also there though he plays for michigan, then DJ Welter at notre dame the next week both were seniors
Then I am proud to say I shutdown Ronnie feist as a young speed rushing end for West St. John even though I was a senior and he was a sophomore, I also had a 100 pounds on him.

Few other notable guys in there like Bradley sylve who plays for bama also played against fournette coach in the state championship

Cecil Collins rushed for about 300 yards and 6 touchdowns on us. Anonther great was Lawrence Nixon of Jennings, besides the cc probably the most talented rb in Louisiana history
