Maybe they’re gonna fire Aranda.

Play man instead of zone as much as possible. Get Delpit to wrap up. That alone fixes a lot.
Can we play man all day against Alabama?
Did Clemson beat them playing solely man?
I think he’s been taking the growing pains with the zone knowing we will need it to win a championship.
Then when Northwestern proved to have an accurate QB, plus our 2nd strong d line couldn’t pressure him, he switched to man to stop all that nonsense.
I don’t think he’s giving up on zone. We can afford to take some lumps against teams that absolutely can’t stop our offense.

Booger will be sharing this info with his buddy Saban just like Williams did for 1/9/12.

I think you'll see Divinity go back to the outside. You may also see Delpit used a little differently. The interior just needs to get healthy. But, I fully expect this defense to start eating.

All that matters is that it is true.

Thornton to Drop Linebacker.

Hopefully moving divinity outside and Vincent to safety

It’s pretty obvious Aranda is trying to teach zone concepts to a bunch of man coverage cbs and green young guys in back end.

Our defense is not bad the way it is. Bama is allowing 308 yds a game LSU- 302 Passing Bama 194 LSU 221 Rushing Bama 114 LSU 80

More snaps under center.

It is not a rant to expect results from a highly paid, highly touted DC when he has great athletes to work with. Either our DB's have been underachieving the last couple of years or their coach has O needs to get more involved in motivation and firing them up for games. Dave is a cerebral coach who spends time in his head and the players are looking for a more physical type coach to get them going during games and reaming them out when they need it.

Team cannot abandon zone coverage entirely. Can’t do that against teams with running QBs. We will get killed.

Devin White was a huge loss. I have full confidence Aranda will make improvements.
Devin White would have made zero difference against Texas, our only competitive game so far. It's not like he was a star in coverage.

Devonta Lee wants to play offense but this dude would be a stud on the defensive side! White 2.0!
Are you kidding? he is as similar to Trindon Holiday as he is to Devin White.

2019 LSU with a good defense =

Excellent points all around, and very likely EXACTLY what's going on.
