What do you expect from LSU football on a regular basis?

I'm listening to a national sports writer assume that the sole reason LSU wants to get rid of Miles is because of Saban.
How many of us have this point of view?
I certainly think LSU should not have a 5 game losing streak to Alabama, but I'm more concerned about the declining SEC record - including regular losses to Arkansas and Ole Miss - and recent bowl performances.
I expect LSU to easily win 10-11 games every year considering the resources LSU has compared to other SEC teams. I expect more consistent performances instead of playing down or up to the competition.
What say you?

I think LSU should do better than 4-7, and likely 4-8, against our own division

Not getting blown out by Arkansas. Back to back.

I don't know that consistently winning 10 games per season is unrealistic, but people need to remember that the win total can dip below that any given year. There's a little bit of luck involved in the college football season. Some of that depends on if your rivals are on an up or down swing.
The biggest thing that bothers me is that losing games is not the end all be all. As many have noted the past weeks, it's how you lose games that is important. The key is to hopefully win more of the big games than you lose, and when you lose to not get blown out.

I expect LSU to regularly beat teams that they are favored against. That happens more often than not, though it is happening less frequently.
I expect LSU to occasionally beat teams that are favored against us. That hasn't happened in a long time.

We should compete for an SEC west title every few years. That's what I want from LSU. Alabama just happens to be the team that prevents us from doing that every year. So is it bad to want to beat them? I don't get this whole thing about "it's just Saban envy."
WHY IS IT BAD TO WANT TO WIN YOUR DIVISION? This is what we are failing to do people. And it's what we WANT to do. So what's the problem?

I expect LSU to win 10 games every year with at least an SEC championship every few years. What I'd really like to see is LSU become a more disciplined team that doesn't commit stupid penalties and look like a team that is prepared to play the game. Too many times LSU plays down to the competition and barely gets the rent-a-wins. I hate Nick Saban, but if his team is up 49-0 and they have a false start or an offsides penalty, he gets pissed because he expects discipline from his players. That's what I expect from LSU

As long as $aban is around, be competitive with Bammer & win 1 of every 3.

Who has ever won 10 games consistently at LSU ?? Not a Miles supporter but some act like that's the standard. Who set that standard that all future coaches must live up to ?

Be regularly one of the top ten programs in the country.
Doesn't necessarily mean finish IN the top ten every single year.
Seriously contend for the national championship at least every 5-6 years.
Seriously contend for the SEC championship every 3-4 years.
Be a team noted for being "well coached," a team, where if we lose a game, were outplayed and not because of constant, uncorrected, stupid mistakes of the basics.
Have an offense that does not make me physically ill to watch.
A team that each year finds its "identity" and generally improves as the season progresses.
