Chemistry with Joe. That kind of stuff takes time and feel. It improved over the course of the season last year.

Jugs reps. Chase and Jefferson have both said the 10,000 reps over the Summer have made the most difference.

It's obvious they left no stone unturned and put a lot of work into it in the offseason.
It's amazing to watch but Burrow is on target and that helps as well.

It's never just one thing, and I'm sure they have put in a ton of work in the offseason. That said, it's much easier to catch passes when the QB puts the throws right on the hands. Burrow's accuracy has been tremendous this season. Plus, his two main targets, Jefferson and Chase, already had great hands to begin with.

That's a really good article. I almost feel like they shouldn't post it. It should be top secret.

Reading that and watching what Brady has done with the offense just indicates that the ceiling for Brady is sky high. I was cautiously optimistic when I researched the guy, but he was still an unknown commodity. You want to be careful throwing around names like Lincoln Riley and Sean McVay, but it's hard not to say it now.

someone stole the jugs key from Moffit, and took it out of the remote off campus closet.

better route design and route running by the WRs creating more space making catches easier and less contested.

It's one thing when hits you in the hands but DB is pulling on one or you are about to get leveled, it's another when it hits you in the hands, nothing in front of your eyes (so you can look it in), and hits you in-stride so you don't have issues of stop-n-go to make catch and a move (running before the catch).

QB accuracy is a big part of that too.

1. Before last year the coaches were bragging that they had an NFL consultant working with the receivers who emphasized route running over catching.
2. When you throw as seldom as we used to the receivers don't get in a groove.
3. Mandated use of the JUGS.

In addition to the 10,000, the data stuff Marucci discussed is state of the art. LSU will be tFlagship in these kinds of advances. Watch in a few years when everyone is copying.

Hard work by the Wr's and coaches, and let's give Burrow some credit for dropping dimes on a regular basis.
