Opponent 3rd down conversions have got to stop. We shoot ourselves in the foot after two previous great plays.

WR group need separation. It’s like they are glued to the DBs

Nuss needs to be a true leader. Get back to game form, show some grit and for god sake if there is a 15 yd open lane RUN!!

* Nuss with some zip on the ball
* Receivers getting separation so we can stretch the field vertically
* A run game to balance the offense
* Linemen that can block

now let’s review and translate CBK’s comment on the offense coming off the bye week:
* we are struggling to stretch the field vertically and cannot run the ball

welp.

It's crazy to think that the simple rush 3 drop 8 defense will be the downfall of this years LSU Tiger football team.

"Uh Oh! Look out Vern, that defense is dropping 8 in coverage, the Tigers are cooked."

some clever formations, pass patterns, confusing play designs, and hopefully a little power football mixed in.
Not expecting any of these, but I'll watch and hope just like I do every week and every season.

We have to get teams out of a drop 8. I think that means more emphasis on the running game, but maybe that means our passing offense just executes better from a blocking/scheme/separation standpoint or maybe it just means more diversity in play calling. I don't really care how we do it, but we have to make teams respect our offense.

If their CBs play back and they keep 2 high, run bubbles and throw into the flats and just nickel and dime the shite out of them until they have to come up some. If we can run for 4 ypc and stay committed to this and not get cute and make mistakes, they will eventually have to adjust if we are moving the ball and getting firsts.

Yep, so we can run the damn ball.

Hoping they can play well on both sides for a complete game

Oline perform better than a JV team against 3 man rush.

Nuss consistently accurate more than 10 yards down field, and running for 4+ yards per attempt for about 130+yards.

Nuss needs recover the zip (and distance) in his passes. The OL needs to give him time to complete his passes. An adequate run threat would definitely help. You know something that looks like a balanced attack.

IMO anything other than a dominate game by LSU spells trouble for my Tigahs as we approach the most challenging part of the season.

LSU needs to play big boy football from now on.

Geaux Tigahs!

1. An offensive line where the players look like they know their assignments especially in the run game which would allow them to play together well as one unit.

2. Nuss to be able to throw the ball 50 yards in the air.
