On defense I feel like if we can contain jalen hurts and not let him run freely we will be alright. He is a true freshmen playing in tiger stadium and we should rattle that mutherfricker. I am not scared of their offense.
On offense we have to try to not get etling killed and I have a feeling we may need brandon harris late in the game because I feel like etling is going to take a lot of hits. We really need to double team tim williams because he is going to abuse teahuma and I wish somebody can blindside Reuben foster. The oline is going to have to play 100% in this game for s to win.
We just had to take shots down field on their weakest link on defense and Eddie jackson who is their leader back there is out. I don't think we will run the ball well but etling, the wrs, and special teams are going to have to win this game
Since miles is gone I finally have hope we can pull it off and feel better then before. I don't know if we will win but with the passing game opening up now I feel better then that crap we did last year.

Get them in third and longs. Hurts is not a polished passer.

We must be able to run the ball. If we can't run the it will be a long game.

Line up, keep punching them in the face, contain the edge, play smart assignment football. Play with passion. Refuse to lose.

Like last night.

Stop their run game
Force jalen Jefferson to pass
Snap their non offensive TD streak

Do this and we got a shot

It was good seeing the heart they played with.

And how Etling dealt with the first two series.

If LSU can score more points than Alabama, they will win.

The battle has to be won through the air.

Bama will make sure to keep Fournette in check like last year. We're not going to pound the rock on their front 7.

Our gameplan needs to center around a neutralized ground game, and protecting etling as much as possible.

Yup. Man if there is ever a time when we need big plays on Special Teams, this is the game. Being at home a huge plus. Keep composure, protect the ball and execute. The Tigers will have a plan B, and a plan C on Nov 5th, and that knowledge alone makes me believe.

Limit the penalties, when the Turnover Battle and use a balanced offense. Unlike last year, LF is more experienced and he will get his yards.

Couple that with Derrius Guice who is having a really good year, Etling at QB, and three speedy WR's with Dural, Dupre, Chark, including the TE's and we have a recipe to beat Bama!

I also still believe our defense will play a Key role in this victory. It's very underrated since everyone is talking about Bama's defense.

Truth is...we've taken our lumps mainly due to busted plays in the secondary. However, we play lights out in the second half and still the only team in the country to NOT allow more than 21+ points in a game!

This. Pretty much this has been the key for us the last 3 years, and not having a good game manager at QB. We have consistently matched or exceeded them at skill positions, but it's been nullified by poor execution at the point of attack.

You gonna have to use a some moving pockets as well. Danny is comfortable throwing on the run, and LSU will need to move that pocket to keep him from being a sitting duck for that D to tee off on him.

OL wise Weathersby should be back for Bama, so that should help . T should be moving back to G. I said this before if Bama does not score a Special Teams TD and LSU has no turnovers we should win. Stop the extra cheap shite.

Win the turnover battle
Don't give them defensive or ST TD's
Hit a few big plays to get the crowd going
Protect Etling
Force hurts to make plays with his arm
Throw some wrinkles at them they aren't prepared for
