Preseason meaning “what looks good on paper”? Players didn’t produce, players got hurt etc. preseason polls don’t account for that. Just something to talk about till the season actually starts.

Good group of players returning. We currently have like 5 contributing true freshman on the team currently. Not too mention the sophomores. Easy to see with improvement and solid transfers coming in it could look drastically different.

The answer is simple. Any coach who he felt was a threat to Orgeron as being a better coach, regardless of sport, he hates. Jay Johnson, Will Wade, Brian Kelly he despised. Jury it out on how he will handle Kiffin because he knows he is O's boy, and he had big dreams of Kiffin bringing O back.
Any coach who is absolute dog shite, he will defend to the ends of the earth. Hence why he liked McMahon.
