To quote Chris Rock..."Coach O take care of dem football kids before they rob me in my older years..you got to get dem football kids on or your mid-life crisis groove on...but you can't do both at the same time..I'm tired of this shite!

H) disappointed

I feel like hes a subordinate of mine that has had flashes of extreme excellence, but the past month has been coming in late and smells like alcohol on mondays after a long weekend.

Im hopeful that in my yearly evaluation with him next month that when i tare into him, he snaps out of it and wakes up.

Hope the alcohol is nothing but a rumor.
A recovered alcoholic who left his wife after she put up with his booze and bullshite years ago at Ole Miss is now coming in smelling like alcohol? If so, there is possibly a situation and it might explain what is going on.

Its a metaphor not an actual rumor.

Thats how i FEEL about the situation. I know he was partying some last spring after the divorce, but i hope he reels it back in, beats at least ole miss and bowl game, and gets ready to be back next year.

I would put it at very concerned!

I don’t care who he goes to bed with because that’s his business. But I do care about the image he presents as the head LSU football coach and I think a lot of moms and dads are going to be concerned as well. That doesn’t even take into account the disastrous results we have had on the field to this point in time.

Very disappointed, and I was one of the few who liked his hiring.

Didn’t think we should have hired him, but if he doesn’t turn things around, that would not be good for LSU. Hopefully this season gets chalked up to covid and 2020, and we bounce back quickly. I have serious doubts about that being realistic, but hope it happens.

A & D. If he pulls together a great class and makes some crucial offseason changes, I'm sure many people will be happier again.

He gets paid to coach and recruit. I don’t care how people are feeling. I believe he’s doing ok to above average on both.

E. In terms of O. I didn't think he was any better or worse coach last year than he is this season or prior to 2019. He is and will ALWAYS be a guy that his completely reliant on his assistant coaches. He'll recruit well, but the game play is SOLEY controlled by the assistants. He struck out on Canada. Hit a homerun with Brady. And thus far looks like the has struck out on this year's batch of assistants. This will be the theme of the O tenure. We have to accept it for what it is.

I'm angry at Woodward for the unbelievably stupid and unnecessary contracts given to O and Pelini that has made parachuting out of any mess much more onerous. NO OTHER SCHOOL was ever going to come close to making Ed or Bo the second highest paid coaches of their status. Ed would STILL be the HC at LSU for 3 million per year less than his current contract. And if Pelini was only going to take the DC job for "Aranda" money, then O easily could have found someone more in demand for less.

Everyone got drunk in the glory of 2019. 2020 is the morning after where we woke up with our wallet stolen, next to the ugly chick realizing we drunkenly raw-dogged it the night before. Perhaps 20 years from now the memories of that party will still be worth it. But, just a little bit of moderation could have prevented brutal the 2020 hangover (though the headache would still be there). Not that things can't get turned around. They can. It's just may be a little uncomfortable

He's okay. Really not his fault. Lost a heck of a lot of talent to the draft. I mean LSU was 2019 NC. You knew Tigahs was going to get gutted of talent. Lost a couple really good coaches as well.

He'll put all back together again. Assuming we get past this Covid-19 b/s LSU will be back and in the running for SEC Champ maybe as early as 2022.

Geaux Tigahs!

Hello All,
I have been reading your posts forever, however, this question forced me to finally sign-up. Since this will be my first post, I am bracing for the welcome to our fellowship comments. Be gentle! Just my thoughts!
Thoughts on CEO
•Embarrassment –we hired “somebody that talks like us and likes gumbo”. His character has already been proven at Ole Miss and USC. Remember, water seeks its own level.
•Think the real O slipped out when screaming at Findley. I am not offended that he screamed, but bad timing and really embarrassed the freshman – I was embarrassed for him… Slo Mo the scene – O slobbering and spittle flying all over…really? during pandemic…..
•Decision makers did not plan out replacement and were left with very few options for HC. I am kind of haunted that we are moving in same direction and will end up with Harbaugh or Myer.
•Will fire CEO end of February with cause, or will fire him after all available coaches scooped up. Need to be proactive in search now.
•Sad that LSU is going to be tarnished similar to SMU – regardless of who stays or goes.
•Has no discipline or respect within team. Behaviors are out of control. Win games prior to flexing after a singular good play.
•The GF pics and the wife just make think he is not particularly laser focused on his job. And, it was bad enough to have to watch him with no shirt jogging and bouncing ~ now my eyes are scorched and can never un-see the bedroom pics.
•I don’t think he is capable of understanding the precipice in front of him… needed staff changes and immediate improvement or LSU will likely free up his future.
•Perhaps practice his general comments – lol toastmasters! – novelty has worn off
•Doesn’t really appear to still be on the wagon… might need to make a PSA and “make amends” to the fans for this season.
Have great holiday season!
