Why you start so late?

It's ok to leave your trailer unattended.
If it's stolen, the O-T will track it down for you.

Don't buy tailgating trailers from anybody on campus without the proper paperwork.

Don’t underestimate the temperature swings. Sometimes the November games are pleasantly warm during the day but the wind in Tiger stsdium can get pretty damn cold at night during November, so dress accordingly.

Rookie advice. You should be on beer 6 at minimum by 10 AM if the game is at night.

Where are you and your baws from?

Go ahead and stock up on bacon now.
(I'm assuming you're not making your first ever game ... Western Kentucky.)

this is actually solid advice. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

You posted yesterday that you graduated from LSU. You didn't attend any games while in school?

I don't think you can avoid this. If you find a "good spot"...guarantee someone else has been tailgating there for years. Since this is their "first", then maybe the natives would be OK with a small 10' x 10' tailgate getting squeezed in for 1 game wherever they set up? It's a roll of the dice, but there is no chance you are going to discover a good spot that is not already claimed by another group.
I would advise that you check knuckles first when you are confronted.
