He didn't look like he was running in quicksand to me, just be hesitant with heading upfield.

Dude in your attempt to scold me you ended up posting the same thing I did. He was hesitant. He was in slow motion IE running through quicksand.

I like the idea of Jefferson and Chase returning punts and would like to see Vincent get the chance to return kick offs.

Kary Vincent needs to be back there. He’s been underwhelming at DB. I thought he would be an impact player when he signed.

Real question here:

Is number 7 passed on in a manner similar 18?

Or is it like any other number? ie. Someone graduates/leaves and it's 1st come 1st serve?

I didn't think I was scolding you, just disagreeing. Sorry.

He was hesitant.

I didn't find him hesitant as in not moving, just in heading upfield. He ran half way across the field before heading upfield, but he was in motion fairly quickly, I thought. Just what I saw, I added a clip of the punt and return.

Not what I saw, He was moving, just not picking his spot well. Either head upfield immediately of keep heading for the sideline and I think he get more than 4 yards on the runback.

It’s a shame we don’t have Drake Davis returning kickoffs. If he hits the hole he hits a speed that really socks it to the kick team. His absence is really a black eye for our special teams.

Couldn't agree more.

I met his little sister at the Troy game (Think she's a year or so younger). She was a nice young lady, really sweet and she was all about spotting her brother on the sidelines or on the field. Makes me even sadder about his whole situation. What waste and hardship on his family.
