What about trying Manny Netherly at kick or punt return?

His dad told me he is the 2nd fastest player on the team, and he came in as a wide receiver. He doesn't have much of a role right now on the team, maybe this could be it? I know they are trying new people out this week...

Giles has done well averaging over 15 yards per return and has sure hands. Why would you advocate a change at this point?

O said we may be looking for more of a spark on both Punt and Kick return. I'm happy with Giles at PR, but we definitely need a bigger threat in the kick return game.

Agree with this. Giles seems about a step slow for KR.

Auburn punted a long line drive to Giles in the 4th right before the TD pass. Giles had plenty of room to run and looked like he was running through quicksand.

I don't think it would be a bad idea to try Dillon at KR. He is all I can think of who fits that role on the offense. All of our burners are on defense. For depth reasons I don't think we could risk Kary Vincent getting hurt back there.

Giles looks natural at pr and hasn't given us any bad returns yet. Tre white scared me every time he touched it.

Seriously, e-mail McMahon and suggest it. I'm sure he hasn't thought of trying MN there. All the Rant coaches know more than the Staff.

Giles has done fine at PR. But we definitely need more splash at KR. I've never been an advocate for RBs on kick returns.

In fact i hate it.

I’m fine with trying him on kickoffs. But I’m with everyone else 7 makes catching punts look easy.

Either him or my favorite player, Derrick Dillon.

He has also returned like 3 points.

Average doesn’t mean much at this point. He hasn’t looked insanely good.

Giles is good at catching punts but not a threat to run it back. no reason not to try someone else who may have a little more speed and wiggle if we get up against LA Tech.

The punt where he had to back up 15 yards before fielding the ball while moving backwards?

Is that what you saw? I saw a guy position himself too far upfield then make a bad decision on where he ran. He didn't look like he was running in quicksand to me, just be hesitant with heading upfield. On his third punt return ever.
