Damn. Watched him play on my cousins team in highschool. He is good. Wish him the best of luck.

I was looking forward to seeing what he could do. The outfield is ridiculously crowded right now though

That puts us at 8 OFs, 9 if you include Gavin Dugas who has moonlighted out there.

39 players overall.

Any relation to the great Al Toups, local baseball ump?

Are you counting Bianco as an outfielder?

That’s what I figured I couldn’t make the numbers work without him. Thought I might be missing someone though.

I'm also counting Tre Morgan in the outfield, who could also back up at 1st base. Of course, that all depends on his injury status.

It should be a two-step melt:

1) Melt over Mainieri recruiting 5'9" players

2) Melt when they leave the program with eligibility remaining (this can also be done re: Zach Mathis)

Nothing has ever stopped ranters from melting without cause. I don’t see why that should change now.

Hey Project,

Do you think most of the SEC is going to go heavy with pitchers this year or spread around the extra players equally to the field and bullpen?

I don't think it's going to be a one-size-fits-all thing, but personally I would lean toward more pitchers than position players.

Flow chart of when to melt on the rant.

Did something happen that wasn’t 100 percent positive for LSU?

Yes - melt

No - melt anyway because it’s only temporary and then something that is not 100 percent positive for LSU will happen. (This is a solid time to start speculating)

I don’t know who this is, what’s his injury?

Nevermind, saw the story linked in other thread
