Guess I've never really looked, but I would've figured MLB pitching coaches made a lot more money

To give some context to how good of a salary this is, some MLB managers don't even make a million per year, or they make right at a million.

Alex cora in his first year with the red Sox only made 8 or 900k.

This is great pay on any level of baseball, you'd almost have to be crazy to stay in the majors unless you absolutely wanted to be a manager one day.

I mena Every AD’s job depends on them making good hires but your saying that like he’s on the hot seat and JJ has been a disaster.

Football? yes

Baseball? no.

Baseball is just flexing some much needed muscle after a prolonged period of stagnation under Pawl. This isn't a move of desperation, just trying to re-establish itself as the program others strived to be

Chad boy didn't get enough attention scouting the NBA draft on the Pels board as someone who's never seen a basketball game so he's looking for more attention here. He'll be back to the saints board for August projecting his 54 roster spots once he reads up on who plays for the saints.

$400k raise and gets to be home with his family and not traveling like a mad-man for MLB. All while doing it a premier college baseball program. With college baseball being his apparent preference and where he comes from.

I understand this move completely.

I know it's not just about the games but 162 in MLB compared to 56 in the NCAA. I hardly doubt it.

Yeah, I thought a MLB pitching coach would at least have a million dollar salary. Never really thought about it though.
