Perkins would have been our Dart equalizer. That's what pissed me off about the ACL tear even more, it's robbed us of one more opportunity to see Harold terrorize a high flying QB and blow shite up. Things are coming too easy for Dart this year, this would have been a chance to shove a banana right up their fvcking tailpipe like Perk did 2 years ago and made Kiffin's jaw drop.

Dude

I’m not trying to be negative. Looking at it objectively we have a very below average borderline bad team. Ole Miss is going to be a beatdown of epic proportions.

You guys were so optimistic after the SC win and we struggled with UCLA and any decent team in the SEC would blow them out.

Ole Miss could drop 70 on LSU if Kiffin doesn’t call off the dogs.

And since LSU literally NEVER comes to play in the first quarter they’ll take advantage of it and deflate the team by going up 21-0. This is the season of moral victories and maybe knocking a team out of the playoffs. Even that’s difficult because we suck so bad.

They will run up 400+ yards on our defense. I get the reality of Saturday has kind of passed, but there is nothing to lead me to believe we will stop probably the most prolific offense in College Football. Ole Miss can't seem to win ever at LSU, but if they had any year to, it'd be this one.

They would have run right at him or forced him into coverage.

The odds on this game will not change with Perkins out

It's a moot point now, but you 100% do NOT know this. Just the fact that Perk has a history and some muscle memory of wreckage with Ole Miss and is in Kiffin's head would have been an advantage at least in the amount of man hours that Kiffin would have to prep for 7 on the field.

Josh Pate noted that this is OM 7th straight game while LSU is coming off a bye week.

None of that conflicts w the points I was making about scheduling.

The current line is Ole Miss -2.5 FWIW.

I don't see them losing to UK or USC but I think both teams have good enough defense to make it tough sledding games for Ole Miss and hopefully beat them up a little bit

I don't think either team beats them, but both teams can physically beat them up

For you young ones, if LSU plays Ole Miss 25 times, we should win 24 of them, with six being somewhat competitive and the rest being runaway blowouts.

The series is 65-42-4 in LSU's favor. You're sporting the P&G glasses today, I like it.

Just the way things ought to be

I’ve never bet a dollar in my life and never will… but if I were a betting man I’d bet the farm on that shite.

Line should be Ole Miss -21

Let’s be realistic. They went into the portal and made massive upgrades to their front 7. Their roster top to bottom is better than ours right now and it’s not close. If we played them 10 times on a neutral field I think they win 9. We are going to have to hope Tiger Stadium magic is in full effect that night and they play their worst game of the season and we play our best.

I hope like hell that we win but me being realistic do you really think our defense can stop their offense…

Not really. Kiffin is in “win now” mode because he knows he’s taking another job after this season. They spent millions on transfers and got most of their team to return when they would have been drafted. They will be awful next year

Kiffin might not leave. His family got him to stay and not take auburn.

I want kiffin to leave ole miss. He has them rolling.

You think ole miss beats lsu 9 out of 10 times on a neutral field with their 2024 squads?

That's just not realistic. Lsu can beat ole miss. Just have to play a clean game(which we haven't seen yet)

Is the LSU Ole Miss game really at night in Death Valley? Is that set

It’s in the night frame. I think we’ll learn a lot more about them these next few weeks - they should win but may be a little bruised

That would be great! Maybe the Tigers can wear their throwback helmets again-- like 2018!

I know Ole Miss looks superior to LSU now, but their back-to-back tests v Kentucky and S Carolina and LSU's bye-week advantage, and night game in Death Valley can make for and interesting night. And we almost NEVER lose to Ole Miss at home!

Probably but I like our OL in pass pro vs. that DL. Most of those guys are studs in the run but average pass rushers
