We’re competing for a national championship if we win the transfer battles with FSU

If we had won the battles for Keon Coleman, Fentrell Cypress, and Braden Fiske by paying whatever it took, we would be competing for a championship instead of Florida State. I We definitely need to step up our game with NIL

Coleman would be the final missing piece to our offense like Terrace Marshall was. Cypress would make our pass defense serviceable at least, and Fiske would help plug up the run.

Gotta start winning a few recruiting battles

What would another receiver do?

It would complete the offense and make it impossible to defend. You can’t cover 3 elite wide receivers at the same time. It would be like 2019 with Chase, Jefferson, and Marshall.

I swear some of you are such simpletons who can’t think past what they see at the end of their nose.

We are undefeated with decent coaching too.

Says the tard who thinks more offense is what the team lacks

I 100% agree with you but keep in mind that criticizing the defense and coaching has been very much frowned upon since the Ole Miss game.

You’re proving my point. Just because you have a great offense doesn’t mean it can’t get even better and even more impossible to defend.

A legitimate option at the 3rd WR spot would make it practically impossible to stop our offense, and it would also give us depth in the event of injuries.

If Lacy would have caught a couple of those passes in the FSU game and House's defense didn't shite the bed against Ole Piss......

I can see Coleman because then we would have had to defend him

We wouldn't have had to go against him for starters

Your premise is wrong. Our offense isnt "missing a piece". Could it get even better, sure. LSU doesnt need anymore offense, we are already impossible to defend, especially with the emergence of Lacy as WR#3.

Right, because anyone who watches LSU knows that what they need is more offense...

Not getting Cypress and getting NoChestnutt was a dagger in the heart looking back at it now.

The simpler what-if scenario is that we are competing for the national championship if you hang onto a 9 point lead with 6 min left vs Ole Miss.

This team has the players.

The simplest what if is JK Johnson getting hurt in preseason camp

A 6’ 190 pound former top 50 overall recruit cornerback with 5 starts for Ohio State the previous season sure would be nice right now

I believe that if our defense continues to progress towards its potential, we might get to play them again and wipe that thought out of your mind. No offense intended, just my LSU glasses speaking.

The defensive transfers I agree with you, but even though Keon Coleman would be a freak in our offense that hasn't been the issue this year so that would not be the difference in the two losses. Better defensive players such as Fiske and Cypress could have made a difference.
