Took a trip with some lifelong buds of mine up to Omaha to finally see it. Sucks the Tigers weren’t in it, but man do they love P&G up there.

Listened to the advice of an older man working at the KC academy who saw my hat and said “you should wear whatever P&G you got up there, they love y’all.” He was right. Hadn’t heard that many Geaux Tigers outside of an LSU game maybe ever. Camera guy recognized my polo and put us on for the “College Colors” on the big board. Really cool experience, would highly recommend going to any College baseball fans in general.

And yes, I got a Jell-O shot to say I did. However, can’t convince me there is a drop of alcohol in them. I probably won’t go back to Rocco’s, but I’ll be back to Omaha as soon as we are

Don’t understand the appeal to Rocco’s. Place is tiny, food and drinks suck. And I hear the owner is a douche.

The place next door, lefty’s, is def better.

Glad you enjoyed the trip

We’ve all had our fair share of Jell-O shots in our lifetimes. I don’t know if it’s the way us Coon-Asses make them, or Rocco’s are just shitty, but I was highly unimpressed last year.

I posted a while back about this. It has nothing to do with LSU money -- it is because LSU people have so much fun there.

Especially when the games were at the old stadium, LSU fans would park their cars and vans in people's yards around the stadium (for a fee!) and have the best tailgates.

Of all the teams that have played at the World Series, Nebraska fans like LSU more than any other (unless Nebraska magically made it there).

You gotta experience it whenever LSU is playing up there in it.

Lefty’s and Rocco’s have the same owner BTW.
I was up there too. Didn’t step foot in Rocco’s. The Blat and Happy Bar are my favorite spots.

Ah. I did not know that. Lefty’s still better imo.

Yeah, I have been meaning to go up there. That’s a bucket list item for me….and I am getting pretty damn old!

Glad you had fun even if the Tigers weren’t in it. That makes me more likely to go!

My first time was last year.

Lucky that that's the year I chose to go.

I went one year at Rosenblatt stadium. It was awesome. It sucked that LSU was 0-2. That was the year Todd Walker was on the team.

The "3MDM" better have it all fixed and the Tigers back in the CWS in 27.

LSU fans and the City of Omaha/College World Series demand it.

Three Million Dollars. That's A LOT of moolah coming in to produce that 9-21/30-28 record.

Not interested in any roster management & transfer portal personnel mistake excuses and "2 out of 3" leniency BS either.

Very nice, I still need to make the trip. I was so close to going when Skenes was on the team, still kicking myself for not doing that. Glad I splurged on the Burrow run.

Geaux Tigers!
